Your deep dive into this unit really highlights what makes this brand so special🔥 The way you break down both the technical aspects and the design elegance is super insightful. Truly a fantastic watch review-keep up the amazing work! 🙌
It’s one of the most well known watches in the world. It gets an insane amount of recognition compared to most watches already. It’s a long standing icon and very respected. New to watches?
@@dmoneydmoney6050 I don't appreciate your smug attitude. The value of my watch collection is probably equivalent to the value of your home, if you even own one. With that being said, I stand by what I said. New watch collectors or the average person on the street probably never even heard of Zenith. Seasoned watch collectors obviously know the brand and may even respect what they've brought to the watchmaking industry over the years. Something like producing the original movement in Rolex Daytona's. With that being said people aren't lining up at Zenith AD's looking for a watch. Their brand is respected but not sought after. You stating that Zenith gets an "Insane amount of recognition" is completely asinine. If you were to view the collections of major collectors around the globe, the chances of seeing a Zenith in their safe would be minimal. So once again son....Great brand but doesn't get the recognition it deserves! Love my Zentih.....you and your dicky attitude...not so much!
@@dmoneydmoney6050 naw he's right. Zenith is much less well known than many other brands. Also, I just got my own chronomaster sport last week! Love it!
@@dmoneydmoney6050 "doesn't get the public recognition it deserves" doesn't mean "not getting any recognition" you simple creature. Your reading comprehension is so bad you really shouldn't be allowed to make RUclips comments.
My watch was purchased 2 years ago from MAMACOO and, to this day, it still looks and runs as well as it did the day it arrived. That movement has never missed a beat despite never having been serviced. I can't complain about that.
Definitely the most interesting & informative channel in RUclips, and I am your fan! I’ve been watching MAMACOO and buying them recently to complement my watch collection. Good video
True winner is the Seiko with their iconic 6139 caliber which is today a standard for all auto chronographs, all major brands including JLC, Omega, Breitling, Tag,Bregeut, Piguet copy 6139 vertical clutch and compact automatic rotor.
Beautiful piece. Unfortunately I don’t happen to have an extra $13000. For those in the same position, Cronos and Sugess both make homages to this for less than $200
Beautiful, very complicated movement and highbeat non the less. Guess each 5 years a service. But if you can afford to buy it it will not be a problemo. Only problem I have with El Primero is that really thin chrono seconds hand. But that's my taste. I'd like a spear a tip ,or something else,on the end of the hand to make it more legible since it lacks the lume. Or maybe a bright vivid colour to give it some contrast.
I find the 10th of a sec complication useless, my timing events are in the greater than 30 min the majority of time, so a regular 30 min & 12 hour chronograph works better for me
Well Zenith’s 5hz El Primero movement in this watch was used by Rolex in the Daytona before Rolex decided to downgrade to a 4hz movement, so Zenith is as ‘Swiss luxury’ as it comes.
Imagine the lugs weren’t so long/ugly and the name on the dial didn’t say “Zenith”, not the old crappy American electronics brand from the 90’s, but the “luxury” Swiss watch company.
What's your point? You don't like having the brand name of the watch on the watch face, like 99,999% of watches have? The lug to lug is 46mm, which is not too long, but I guess them looking ugly to you is just a matter of taste.
@@SoundShunter72 the lugs are entirely to long and straight causing the watch to look cheap. The name Zenith is synonymous with a poor outdated electronics company and a main component as to why the brand doesn’t sell well in America. You change that name on the dial to Omega and shorten/round out those lugs, these el primero’s sell like hotcakes.
@@Seconds84 I think the main component as to why the brand doesn't sell well in the states is probably because the average IQ of most Americans don't allow them to get over two completely unrelated companies sharing the same name by pure coincidence. If you don't care about history/heritage whatsoever and you only care about the name that's on the dial then buying an Omega would indeed be a better option for you, or better yet, buy a Rolex because even more normies will recognize your piece of jewellery. You obviously care way too much about what other people think of your watch, otherwise just seeing the name "Zenith", the Swiss luxury (no quotation marks) brand, wouldn't bother you. If you cannot shake the horrible thought of Zenith being anything other than a watch brand, then that's definitely your problem. There's way worse names you can put on that dial.
@@Seconds84 Also, no style of lugs make a watch look cheap. That's not how looking cheap works. Cheapness comes from cheap finishing or cheap edges. Lug style is entirely personal preference. You can hate all you want, but you cannot change that.
@@SoundShunter72 please don’t lecture me on what makes a watch look cheap. This is my opinion, as is the reason why this brand gets minimal traction in the US. I love horology and the history behind it, but ultimately no one cares what’s on your wrist besides yourself. I cannot compartmentalize that name and my associating it with my crappy TV I had in my room growing up in the 90’s. Also part of the esthetics of the watch are case design and finishing. The lugs are designed very similarly to a Hamilton Field. The strap has such a gap between it and the case side, it looks terrible.

I own a Zenith Chronomaster Sport and just love it. I've always been amazed that Zenith doesn't get the public recognition it deserves.

Me too and 4 other Zenith watches. Completely agree that they don’t get the props they deserve.

Amazing watch! I guessed a lot higher for the price.
I really wish they would do this in a precious metal. That would be a total game changer

True, but it's so cool!
A technical beauty. But not the easiest to read
Is Zenith considered a Swiss luxury brand? I think it is based on their prices…
