Great video excellent solo fishing on the boat.. I have eaten bonito a few times I can handle it but very cool of you to release it I also eat jack crevalle and I always use wire but thats me not telling what to do just be happy.. I don't want you to get a ticket there's a law about slowing down when going under bridges its like passing docks and so on (look it up or ask the CG you'll run into them eventually).. Lots of action nicely done

I’m also a bonito fan. Bleeding and icing makes a big difference, I will usually bring a kill bag full of ice to the pier for mackerel and when the bonito are running by. Makes a huge difference for both fish.
Also salting for 30min-1 hr and splashing some rice vinegar on oily or fishy fish can do wonders. Pulls out a lot of the intensity and makes it milder. The Japanese do this for mackerel sashimi, but I find it works well before cooking as well

Dude just got some Navallus bamboo shirts....they r great;soft, breathable gear. Just got into slow pitch-first started w my heavy spinner, then bought a purpose built rod, from Johnny Jigs.
GBBT has great jig selection:JYG and Johnny Jigs.
U gonna rename that number as the $40 hole.

I dont like using my verticals or slow pitch on a wreck they just cost too much and first thing AJs wanna do is run for the wreck. I just use large live baits (much easier to stomach losing a hook and weigth over 20 dollar jigs) Especially when the season is closed. High relief = AJ's

It never ceases to amaze me how many Florida fishermen label Bonito trash fish, or not good table fare. Yet there are multiple videos on RUclips of people cooking and eating bonito. Including this one: ruclips.net/video/aJCr-oLKYFM/видео.html. Fast forward the video to get to the cleaning and cooking part.
