Just some shit new version. Netflix almost always does a terrible job when it comes to remakes or reboots. As much as I love UM I'm definitely not excited about the new Netflix version. I'd much rather see a major television or cable network do it.

Margie’s story is incredibly sad. Told by her mother to marry an old man at 14 rather than be sent to an orphanage. She couldn’t read or write at the time. Her ignorant grandpa husband blamed her for her pregnancies and the laws at the time allowed him to send her son out to be adopted without her knowledge or consent. I am very happy to hear that they eventually found each other!

Unsolved mysteries was so needed. It gave a voice to victims, families who lose family to crimes, missing family, that the police or national news didn’t care to help or cover. I think unsolved mysteries solve more crimes than the police.

Road rage crimes are generally the toughest to solve because the victim and perpetrator are almost always strangers. Plus trying to identify the suspect or vehicle you have to rely strictly on eyewitness accounts. If a car's make or model or license plate number are misidentified there goes any likelihood of the case being solved.

The sketch looks surprisingly similar to the Sunnyside Stalker (which was a road rage incident) in California in 1991. This case was also featured on Unsolved Mysteries in season 6. The guy chased Dick Hansen and his date because she had a San Francisco 49ers personalized license plate. Then shot and killed him when they stopped and he confronted the man. The two sketches look similar; they have similar MO’s (road rage); and would account for this case’s sketch age differences.

But it sounds like the girls were co-erced into having sex with the officers to avoid being shut down. No payment was involved, thus it doesn't count as prostitution.
And in case someone DID look into the police's shady business with the "massage parlour", the police could simply use the "gifts" they received (e.g. lights, uniforms, etc) as "proof" that they were only having sex with the girls and not soliciting prostitution. After all, you don't buy gifts for a client. You buy gifts for a lover. It's the perfect cover.....and the perfect way to exploit the large amount of money the girls were making.

Amy Wroe Bechtel, a woman who disappeared in 1997 from Lander, Wyoming, is considered by law enforcement to be among the Great Basin killer's potential victims.[23] Bechtel disappeared while going for a run outside Lander.[24] When her husband returned home at 4:30 p.m., she was not home. Bechtel's white Toyota station wagon was found parked off a dirt road in the Shoshone Forest. No trace of Bechtel has been found but subsequent investigation placed Eaton on business in the area around the time of the disappearance.[25] Killer Dale Wayne Eaton has refused to talk about her murder

Young girl story who had to marry older man is just sick.

It is beyond sick. My heart breaks for her. She may as well have been raped by her grandfather. And then have her child snatched away from her. It's beyond heartbreaking and deplorable.

The good news is that as of May 2019, Gerry and Terry Robinson were located alive and well, thanks to a DNA match. But the bad, sad news is their mother passed away before they were found and reunited.

If people kept their heads out of their asses and exercised a bit of "common courtesy" the "Road Rage" issue would be far less common. Unfortunately it seems people are generally still pretty content with blasting their music and driving like jack asses in general so the madness will continue.

Thank you. I have a 45 minute one way commute every day and I see road rage on a daily basis. It's unreal.

What has music got to do with road rage?

    • @erickelly4107
      @erickelly4107 3 года назад +1

@@lynncrf Pretty self explanatory if you bothered to read what was posted. Nobody else on the road wants to hear your music blasting, this creates issues. Lack of self control / no regard for others sharing the road creates problems. Common courtesy isn’t always so “common” unfortunately due to the abundance of self absorbed narcissist out there who don’t bother to consider how their behavior impacts others around them.

Landers PD should look into Amy’s case again, ask the FBI for assistance, and go back to the cottage and luminal the ever living shit out of that place. Even with a crime scene established, many prosecutors are still hesitant to try without a body. But it would require a district attorney with enough guts to take the case to trial.

“statistically he did it" that's so ridiculous. They have no clue what happened and just want to pin it on the husband

    • @talulahbankhead7883

What he meant by that is that they have to eliminate the spouse/partner before they move on to any other suspect, because statistically, women are most likely to be killed by their significant other. But they couldn't eliminate him because he wouldn't cooperate. Ans as long as you can't eliminate the husband, he remains the prime suspect., especially when he refuses to help the investigation.
