Hi Michelle, I also have the 4 pie maker from Kmart. I do cheese, raw egg and salami pies. I cook them for 10minutes, then let them rest on a wire rack, then right before eating I put them in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds. You need to insert a knife into the top of each pie before microwaving, so the egg doesn't go everywhere, but this will ensure the raw egg is cooked right through :)
Many years ago we had one of these but from Breville. My sons would use it by themselves and they would use the white, jumbo sliced, thick cut toast bread instead of pastry. They enjoyed that more than the frozen pastry as it always cooked perfectly. While the pastry was a bit hit and miss. It worked with savory fillings as well as sweet. Just a suggestion. IMO if it only takes a few minutes no pastry is going to cook properly.
Did you ever get it to cook the egg instead of having to cook the egg and then add it? We have a breakfast sandwich maker that you add English muffins, a raw egg and it cooks the egg perfect 😊
that Kmart pie maker looks like it’s too messy and too much work and it doesn’t cook properly and burns too quickly but that’s not your fault it’s just the product sometimes it’s better to get a more expensive or better quality one if you were going to make pies all the time or the Kmart pie maker might be for freezer pies not make your own 😮😮😧🤨🤢🤢🥮🥮🥧🥧🥚
@ hi I don’t have the pie maker but I did tried the Kmart waffle maker it did the same thing burnt the edges and partially cooked it and it’s a nightmare to clean wasn’t worth the $15 🧈🧇😸😺😼🤣😂
The apple pie looked really yummy! Love your videos. So much fun 🙂
Thanks so much! 😊

Ooh! That's a great idea, thanks for sharing! I've been having so much trouble with the egg!

Cooking first...good to know.🤣🤣 I've done that, and you have brought back not so fond memories of crispy brown crust and chewy, raw insides.😄😄😄😄😄😄
It's a waste of time if you have to first right? lol
Here for You ❤
Welcome 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks

Maybe whisk the egg and then pour in with your cooked bacon

That egg yolk looks a bit funky
I stirred it off camera... but still didn't work lol
Did you spray it first to stop sticking.but big fail .wasting time needing to cook everything first lol .good video
I agree!!!!!

I have the bigger one and it works well - this was fiddly... so I agree xx
