I originally started with the remake of the series and loved it. However, since the remake hasn't been completed yet and I could hardly contain my excitement, I started watching the original series, and I have to say it was one of the best decisions of my life. The characters and their actions, as well as the story of the anime, fit so well together. You can see how characters change over time and the long-term consequences of their decisions. GO Team Yang!

if only I found this video sooner i could've warned you: don't watch this series, don't commit my mistake of getting attached to any of the characters or you'll end up brokenhearted writing a 300+ pages fanfic (okay maybe the latter is just me). But now, as i can see from the other videos, it's too late. I read the first novel of the series and while i loved a lot of things, the style was just too dense for me (and i'm not into war movies/series). My fatal mistake was naively assuming (al least 1 of) my 3 favourite characters (that i won't spoil) would survive and spoiling myself the ending. Save yourself, if you still can. Still, i absolutely love the esthetic of the OG anime , the remake makes the characters look like high-schoolers from Kaguya- sama love is war and i can't unsee it. it takes away a lot of the atmosphere.

@@TinyWaveTV no, is (mostly) a fluff fest where my favourite characters get reincarnated in another sci-fi universe (one of my invention with various inspirations) where the tecnology is a lot more advanced, there is peace and great mysteries surrounding it and history... the price for this "peace" may be far greater than war itself. There are cameos from other dead characters from both Lotgh and other sci-fi/adventures stories. I am having fun writing it, but i've gotten slower and i haven't even reached the halfway point, i keep getting new ideas! If you ever make a video about the differences in adaptation, i will watch for bettering my plot! (I am weak, but my desire to write happy endings is stronger!) My only advice is not getting into the novels if you're at weak point mentally; i've read it weeks after my uncle passed away and it NOT helped.

Let me know if you want me to insert more characters deserving it, you can help me a lot with this, expecially if you will read the books. There is a rare anime which is as underrated than your channel. Most people don't understand this anime and can't see how it was years, if not decades, ahead of its time, even its target audience of vocaloid teenagers was too young to make sense of anything, and I haven't mentioned yet that an average adult viewer has difficulties understanding this anime. Let me warn you that you will most likely not understand and not enjoy it too because there are only a select few who can really see the brilliance of its direction and how much justice it pays to a certain cult classic anime unlike its terrible copycats, but if this work is made for you to enjoy, you will not place it below your personal favourites. It is called Black★Rock Shooter (TV), 2012. It is short (8 episodes only) and must be finished in one sitting. Good luck!
