Just got some Poly Voyager 5200's. This video was helpful, but the in-office portion of such with and without Neep on were too brief to allow a good comparison. I think the poly's did the best in the outdoor walking test, and that the Yealink's did the worst in the office environment.
You're welcome! neep is a software you download on your computer to be used in combination with your headset. So, if you use the Yealink headset on your computer then neep could be a consideration to add as well.
The open comm I noticed picks up human frequency sounds like baby and persons sometimes, but it blocks my shopvac just fine lol. The voyager is really clear though, the yealink seems to sometimes pickup backgrounds, but it’s really clear otherwise
Hello Bro, Could you please provide a score between 0 and 10 for the phone call mic quality on the Poly Voyager 5200 UC, along with valid reasons for your rating? Thank you Brother 🙏🙂👍
I have purchased poly voyager 5200UC yesterday and then i find this video should i return this product and but YEALINK? What you say please suggest . I am a delivery driver so while driving or loading unloading i required that why i purchase now what to do plz suggest?
Plantronics was once the best headset brand on earth. They were the originator of this headset so it's hard to improve on an already great product. The Yealink BH71 just took it one step further on improvements that Plantronics/Poly should have made years ago.
Hello. What are the best headphones for online teaching. The ones that cover the whole ear. I have Jabra biz 2400II but after 2 hours my ears hurt. Thank you!
I definitely agree that the other two headsets microphone seems to be better than the shocks but I love my shocks and I have two headsets both versions. I wish they would hurry up and come out with a third version because I'm noticing that my current version the battery seems to be losing its charging capabilities like it doesn't stay charged as long as it used to. I really like the open design and I'm not a fan of putting things in my ears so therefore I wouldn't want to use any type of earbuds. The only thing I wish they could do is put a little bit of padding over the ear hooks that go around your ear because I use mine all day for work and I find that the tops of my ears get a little sore with prolong use. But I haven't had my customers complain that they can't understand me with my headset so I know the microphone isn't all that bad.
I definitely noticed the same thing when I listen to the video. But I can tell you that the second version of the shocks headset seems to have a better microphone because when I was using the first version I would have customers who asked me to repeat certain things especially when I was giving out a telephone number for them to call. It doesn't happen with the latest version microphone so I think the microphone is better. But I have to say since they got rid of that beeping noise on mute it's great but sometimes I forget that I have my microphone on mute and I will receive a phone call and I will say hello and then I have to figure out that my microphone is on mute because it doesn't beep but I thought that beep was very annoying on the first version of the shocks open COMM you see.
@@genuflext All of these headsets are pretty similar in terms of mic quality. That said, they do perform slightly different and the preference to the sound quality is subjective according to your preferences. In our opinion to our ears the Opencomm2 UC mic sounds the best but the BH71 and 5200 have better microphone noise cancellation. After watching the video, what do you think?
bluetooth frequency, like wifi, is too wide and cant even cross the water barrier of your skin. Thats also why they dont work under water. 4g and 5g are another story tho, but only in the lower frequencies

Recently purchased yealink, Voyager seems bit more expensive. Thanks for testing these models. Neep how does it gets installed on Yealink?

I thought the 5200s sounded the most natural. Unless your voice is naturally robotic sounding that is.
I noticed that the 5200 are in many comparison videos and not just yours. Just an observation.

It's up to you, the Voyager 5200 UC is still used by many people in a similar job as yours and it works well. You can't go wrong with either.
Alright Yealink bit better than Poly, but how it's possible that since 10 years Poly are still so good? 😮

@@meridith9340 our take was the Shokz mic sounded best but didn’t do as good as the BH71 to block background noise.

The Yealink sounds tinny
That was our opinion as well but it did do a better job blocking out the background noise
