    We bought the Epson ecotank because I did not want to run out of ink in a middle of a project plus it just saves on ink.

    Nice. I bought the T100 a couple years ago for like $650. Already paid it off a long time ago. Easy to use, simple prints. I charge like $3.15 per 24" x 36".

      @@ttms Kelly had them at $10.05 per roll, but it looks like the price just went up to $13.30. At least that's what my price is. They come 4 rolls in a pack. 24" x 150' on a 2" core. I've also found them on Amazon for less than $50 for 4 rolls of 20#.

      Where can I look to find these print jobs. I have a Canon imageprograf TA-20 and I'm looking for ways to pay for it. Any advice on finding customers or any advice on how to advertise my printing services?

    Look into the Kip machines, that's what we used, but blueprints is one of our backbones. I think they have a print + scan machine that's under 6k or 5k.

    def understand about not wanting to change media on the hp latex. a printer for each type of printer would be awesome lol gets old moving 54" prime gp and banner material back and forth lol

    What is your ink cost coming out to for full color prints? I know you said $0.68 per print (based on 200) but hopefully you’ve been able to get it more accurate over time with more usage. Thanks!

    how has this worked out for you so far? I'm a contracting company and I draw my own plans. Usually pay staples or office depot to print but I could use the speed/ease of printing my own. Don't want to buy a budget printer that will just break after a few jobs.

    • @ttms
      @ttms  2 года назад +1

      Been working great. I'm really happy with the purchase. I do mostly engineering plans, but I get local people that just want cheap poster prints and it works out really well. It was definitely worth getting.

      Thanks. I figured out what was the issue. It's not a marginless printer so since I had a margin in what I was printing, I moved in the width one inch and it didn't alter the size of my artwork because it now had room for the margin. My art board was the same width as my paper roll in other words but the actual art was not affected when i reduced the width of the art board. That was the problem. Thanks for your reply.

      I'm going to make a cardboard tray that is at an angle. That way gravity does the work.
