You should really use a wrench to tighten the 10mm nut on the rocker arm while at the same time holding your straight slot screwdriver from turning. The way your are doing it will cause the whole thing to turn as you are tightening it with the socket.

A man of few words, but outstanding video! I at least have a good idea how to do this now on my KLX125 (same bike). Basically, get the motor to top dead center-what you did on the bottom end, verify through spark plug hole, then adjust the valves to .003 thank you!

Didn't show the timing marks, or describe them in the description.
I believe the feeler gauge should be .003 and .005 right ?
NEED to do, unless you have a video on the Cam Chain Adjuster...

You can download the service manual for free online and it has all the info in it. I did and I’ve just used that for all my maintenance on my 125 DR-Z’s. It goes pretty well in depth about valve adjustment and other things.

For all that watch this - valve play on original GN125 seems .10mm in .12mm out. On the Chinese copies it is .10mm in and out.
Try to move the feeler gauge blade sideways under the set screw, don't try to poke it in between.
It also takes a 10mm ring wrench for the counter nut and a flt blade screw driver for the set screw - without these simple tools this process turns into an nightmare.

Easiest way to fibd the compression stroke - put yoyr finger over the spark llug hole until you feel air blowing out, its trying to compress but because the spark isn't there it just blows out. Saves a lot of time.

Its no really no help when youre not explaining what youre doing and why( lining up TDC on compression stroke, checking cam sprocket marks are level with cylinder head through the rubber gromet , ensuring both tappets are rocking with at least some clearance, making sure the engine is completely cold, luckily i understand what's happening, but to a novice its as much use as a chocolate teapot)

He's spinning the engine by hand to find top dead center on the compression stroke. You'll see piston at top in spark plug hole, confirm with a pencil, top dead center stroke when it's blowing air out of the spark plug hole.
