The Philosophy Of Time Travel is available on the Special Edition DVD. It's pretty short though, like 6 pages lol
Fantastic choice
Butterfly Effect has 2 versions. The cinema release sucks, especially the ending. Now, the director's cut on blu-ray is undoubtedly my absolute favorite time traveling movie ever made. From the first scene it's different for the original cut. There is also a beautiful director's commentary that gives you so much more. It's stunning and beautiful
I've only ever watched the director's cut - I plan to keep it that way when I rewatch :)
A lot of people don't understand this movie (at least not the people I know). I _LOVED_ this movie. One of my all-time favorites. Glad you got it. (and liked it).🎃👻🧙 In case you haven't seen them, you _NEED_ to see "The Sixth Sense" and the 10 episode Netflix series, "The Haunting of Hill House". 2 of the best movies/TV series I've seen in the last 30 years. _GREAT_ film-making, from the acting, to the stories, to the cinematography. Masterpieces.(IMO) Btw, did it make you cry a little when you realized he sacrificed himself? It did, me.
I would have cried (because I'm a big crier) but I was SO in awe of holy cow that JUST happened that I was more shocked. But now when I watch the scene of him laughing at the end - it makes me emotional. I definitely need to watch the sixth sense, I'm reading the haunting of hill house right now so I will watch it as soon as I'm done! I'm planning on doing episode recaps of that one :)
@@somewhereinoctober A lot of times, when I read a book, then I watch a movie based on that book, I'm inevitably let down b/c they change things or leave out things that I think are important. But alas, there's only so much they can fit in a 90 minute movie. I still think you'll enjoy The Haunting of Hill House. Btw, you make me want to go back and watch Donnie Darko again.(for the eleventeenth time)🤣 It's been a while.

1991 had a movie called Body Parts starring Jeff Fahey and Brad Dourif (Chucky himself). Nobody talks about it. I definitely hope you check it out, do a reaction to it or just a quick review. There have been so many great horrors out there, yet people only seem to talk about the popular ones. Time the world give the great ones another chance. Some of the acting is laughably bad, and some of the effects is just as terrible, but it's a great movie. It's one primed for a great remake.

I wanted to like S. Darko but it is just not the same. One of my favorite films ever is Donnie Darko. Why are you wearing that stupid man suit? lol
Also too bad the sequel S darko sucked and the director made Southland tails

Yeah, Southland Takes was a bit of an atrocity.
