I gotta admit, noticing you visibly having to reign in the Retro Revival Eric Marienthal to get a breathy subtone was pretty funny. That piece just wants to scream

it is a screamer! I bought it after trying a few since I need something for pop gigs. The 7th Avenue South I tried wasn't a good fit for me but this one was greay

That was the best play test I’ve seen….I could actually hear every nuance of the horn

Can you speak on what the longevity of this horn may look like? Do you think that the materials of the horn and its construction would affect how it would be maintained and repaired down the line compared to other brands like Selmer, Yamaha, Yanagisawa, etc? Moreover, are the parts used pretty standard, e.g., the types of springs, rods, etc? Sorry if this sounds like an interrogation. I don't know much about sax repair, and as much as I want to like the Nexus saxophones, I'm still skeptical about how it holds up long term.

Could you, if you will have a chance to compare Nexus alto and Selmer Supreme or Signature alto...?

Funny it sounded like more of a dark horn but then when you pushed it I could hear the brighter vibe you were talking about 😊

Good morning nice playing l need a back up horn. Does this inst have adjustment screws on the right and left hand stacks. I am a Yamaha Guy so l know their value.

Great review, Man! I love the sound you're getting out of this horn with either mouthpiece. The big round ligature, I have seen it before. It's kind of expensive. Do you think it's worth the money?

it needs to be like $120 max
