    The son is the recast!He can grow up and marry Storm and do everything from the Comics that the "recast T'Challa" people are bitching they wont see.

    This movie feels like when a band losses its lead singer or guitarist but the rest of the band steps up in their absence, but you can’t fill the void. I think it’s a solid film with some tone, pacing, and theme issues, and the Ross/Val stuff could go altogether. And the Iron Heart suit could have looked way better, and she's more ad placement for Disney Plus.
    With T’Challa, this goes from being a solid movie to an all-time great one, and it solves the plot problems. Regardless considering all that needed to be juggled, Coogler did a good job.

    Nick was 1000 percent right about BP2 being better than NWH. NWH was really lackluster in the first half. Didn't really kick off until Aunt May, and the setup to the movie was kind of stupid. NWH just had an excellent second half and an excellent ending. BP2 was great throughout and the weight of the film was present from the first frame

    It’s interesting that folk who was never into Marvel comics prior to MCU are cool with not recasting T’Challa. All I heard out their mouth was Chadwick Boseman. Not T’Challa! T’Challa did not die nor will die if he caught a “virus “. Complete bullshyt writing. “I like the dancing “. Blk folk can do more than Dancing. Recast t’chaka’s son, T’Challa!

    • @igweugo
      @igweugo 2 месяца назад

      The MCU gave T'Challa a father, who he grew into manhood adoring, with the last however many years with him as his personal protector, with the only thing cutting his reign being Zemo's attack on the UN.
      MCU gave him his mother too, and a lived experience that had him supporting and bugging up his baby sister the entire way.
      And the MCU gave him a Wakanda that he openly loved and sought to actively protect.
      Comic canon T'Challa has none of that; super intellect, super strength, an utter fortune at his disposal, yet nothing to actually tie him to his home country, or to anyone on the planet, frankly

    I’m with ken! That was a shocker she didn’t kill namor! And for me it almost ruined the movie for a couple reasons.
    1. Cuhz crossed hella lines in this movie! He came to yo land and threatened you, then came again and wreaked havoc on y’all, KILLED THE QUEEN, Let alone your mother and you still let him live????
    2. They kinda siked me a little because us as an audience watching this movie are not only hurt after The Queen dies but we’re given extra motivation like “okay namor gotta get handled after all this”. Then y’all show kilmonger in the ancestral plant speaking facts and hyping her up on why weakness has consequences so we’re thinking she gon take care of business … then we get to the moment of truth and namor lives???
    Last reason: the whole morality thing is so played out in movies “vengeance will consume you” “you’re no better than the killer or the bad guys” type of crap! It’s played out. Let alone in this particular story line as well T’challa let the nigga who was responsible for his fathers death live! Why did namor have to live too????

    • @HUNGRYFLOWER98
      @HUNGRYFLOWER98 Год назад +3

      This is why the world is so fucked up. As corny or lame as it may be that was the point of the move. Sometimes people do hurt u and cross lines. But u have to be wise enough to not continue an evil cycle. Someone like u would have killed him and then they would retaliate and there would be war. It’s not easy at all. But it’s a very deep message. I’m not dissing u either. If someone killed my mother I’m not saying I wouldn’t want revenge. All I’m saying is she made the right choice. It would only be an eye for an eye forever

    • @terrellhayes590
      @terrellhayes590 Год назад

      @@HUNGRYFLOWER98 no I completely understand your point of view very deeply! I understand not repeating cycles and doing the right thing. I’m just speaking from a stand point of a viewer that sees this same message in every movie that there is. And it kinda gets tired so I thought they were gonna make that extra push and actually put some form of revenge in the movie but they didn’t which kinda bugged me. That’s all I’m saying. I’ve sat on it long enough to kinda live with the ending of the movie

    The moment I saw Ken from dehh I already knew this discussion is gonna be from people who don’t have a clue about this franchise. I knew they would love this emotional mess, the MCU can do no wrong with these folks free school meals. They eat what is served with no questions

    Not on the black woman hate the problems I have with the movie:
    1. M'baku is now king & now his Tribe is now in charge of a wakanda theses are people who is against the wakanda technology They worship the ape, So now you gotta punch dumb caveman running wakanda
    2. The Queen with all the knowledge of how to run wakanda
    is it's now dead
    3. T'challa with the power of the black panther died from a Illness
    4. Chadwick had cancer didn't want to share his illness...then they put it in a movie even though It don't make sense & says its tribute
    5. The man is king of wakanda & have his living in Haiti
    6. We watch his people save people life's when they have time & We posed to believe for 5 yrs he sick & says nothing he's not going to fight to live to raise his son or be the protector of wakanda because he's to Proud
    7. And the big problem for me they said this movie is about grief Well how many times they're gonna use black panther to explain to us black people about grief
    A.We watched his father get murdered and civil war & we had to watch him deal with Grief
    B.His Uncle get murdered in black panther and we watch how not to deal with grief with killmonger
    C. He died in his own movie
    D. He died an Infinity War
    E. He died in the what if cartoon
    F. He died wakanda forever
    G. Then they killed his mother
    Every time they showed black panther they had to explain to black people on how to deal with grief I guess we're stupid understand this was hard for them to do but this was a terrible direction just my opinion

      M'Baku literally has a sacred wood and Vibranium weapon heading into the sea battle, lol.
      He's a traditionalist to the highest order, but he's not so tied to tradition to the detriment of his people.
      T'Challa (and Shuri) were both taken in The Snap, so both lost 5 years anyway, returning after The Blip (with T'Challa only really being back, seeing his son, for likely a year before he died)
      The Tribal Council will still be there (Border, River, Merchant, Mining, Jabari), Shuri will be an asset too, and you still have the Dora Milaje (now led by Ayo).
      And King M'Baku will be at the helm of all of that, taking advice from all parties, but then making the best decision based on his wits, like a great king could and should
