Is there any easy way to add a source - IP Camera stream for instance, and have it Not be mapped accross all the audio busses, and Only go to master Out? Every time I add in a new source, I have to go un-map the headphones and audio buses, else we get viewers on social platforms telling us the audio is distorted. Listening to the speaker output on the PC (generic onboard audio) there's cross talk distorting the sound until the buses are un-mapped. I'd think they should be not selected as the default setting, rather then the current way of always being selected. Ditto adding new sources, the default should be unticked, not ticked, so the person doing the audio mix controls it without the person video switching doing it., such as when an attached mixer using the USB audio input is in use.
When I had 2 video inputs on one screen., both audio would turn on making it louder. what i did was add an audio source. then set triggers for all the screens with video to turn on audio source when i switch to any scene that requires it. then when im on a scene with a pre stream loop. it turns it off and turns on another audio source like music. I couldn't figure out how to make a scene with 2 videos only play one audio source. So this work around worked for me.
Hi! how about for Desktop Browser Audio? I'm adding the Desktop Browser to the timeline(?) and it seems I don't see or hear the audio from that browser.
I have three cameras that will need the same audio but I don't want that audio to be playing while we play videos. Anyway to attach audio to a group of channels?
No, but you could set up triggers on the cameras to turn on a specific audio input. Then have other triggers to turn off that audio when playing your videos.
Separate issue but I am having problems with audio device volume. Recording my device volume fluctuates. In the audio settings, I tried to keep it between 50 and 80 depending on the type of production, and it constantly fluctuates up or down throughout production. Any advice or remedy?
i been trying with out success to capture the audio from de desktop capture input i can see the image from the desktop capture but not the audio, how can i do to hear the audio runin from the desktopm thank you
It was using an X-keys switch interface button. So there is a USB switch interface and then you can buy different devices to plug into that- xkeys.com/xkeys/switches.html
vMix thanks so much for this. Much appreciated. Loving using vMix. Despite watching LOADS of your [informative and amusing] videos, I do have a ton of questions. I’ll compose an email. Brace yourself!
Hi, you can go to 3 different destinations but it's the same video. You can adjust the audio, but not the video- ruclips.net/video/IqHQnari_ec/видео.html
ASK : I was live, at one time. It Success with audio i think is not bad. and Has and up after 1 hour. and without turn off my laptop, with same setting, and go live again at another session. my audio is not working. How its possible? untill now i never live again, because i don't know happens. my setting : audio input (from my laptop) audio external cable, with turn off my playback tab audio. and turn on realtek microphone.
If you're able to output your mixer's audio into your production, then you can use this option to manually control the audio so it's audible at all times.
Relearning vMix -- you do a marvelous job on these tutorials.
I wish I had seen this before today!!! Next Sunday won’t be a problem now
Thanks Tim....solved that small issue....;)

If the mixer was off but the camera was recording sound, can sound still be added?
