10:00 I built chatterfang as my aristocrat deck and korvold as a treasure deck, and have been having a lot of fun! (yes I own two chatterfangs now. worth it.)
Don’t forget that you CAN run off color fetches since they don’t have the mana symbol. So for example you could use a ‘Windswept Heath’ to go fetch up a shock land that IS in your colors (like Stomping Grounds) since you’re gonna find a ‘forest’ with Windswept Heath!
I just built a basically budget version of this a few weeks ago 😂 It’s popped off a couple of times with Academy Manufactor on the board with Pitiless Plunderer and sacrificing Cauldron Familiar for Viscera Seer. I also got lucky and pulled a Sword of Hearth and Home that I put in to flicker stuff like the Recluse Painter and Rapacious Dragon

Finally!!!! I’ve been looking around for a decently fun focused but strong treasures/dragon themed deck… been going with ziatora or Korvold but too much cedh korvolds around! 🤮
I reccomend Blood Money instead of damnation. It's a X two swamps where x is the mana u pau to exchange for damage. The catch is that you create treasure tokens equal to the number of nontoken creatures that died this way
Important to mention: Chatterfang and Pitiless Plunderer creates infinite mana with two squirrel tokens on the board. Pay one black with a land or treasure, sac one squirrel token, put the +1/-1 counter on the other token, creates two death triggers for Plunderer which creates two treasures and then two squirrel tokens with Chatterfang all for one mana. This nets you one mana of any color from the extra treasure token, and if Korvold is on the field, creates infinite sac triggers to draw your entire deck. at that point, you can win by playing a sac outlet and killing Korvold so you don't deck yourself and then dropping Inferno of the Star Mounts and pumping it or by playing and protecting Hellkite Tyrant or Revel in Riches. It may be important to not play a land drop that turn to put a reliquary tower into play if you do the latter.

Also a card ive seen no one talk about, 'Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel' Whenever a token (any, creatures, food, clues, treasures, which this deck all does btw) put a 1+1 counter. When they die, create x 1/1s, where x is its power. Sure its 6 mana but it can REALLY become a surprise quickly. Also why not include acient copper dragon?
I made this about a year ago, so Ancient Copper wasn't out yet. It is one that I want to put in there, but haven't gotten it yet! Check out the link to th deckliat at the bottom. It's changed quite a bit since then, and really went all in on treasures with all the recent support.
@@mtgtomescourer yeah thats what i was gonna say, i see youve changed the deck but yeah no inclusion of copper. Also as much as i love this deck, i feel it struggles with having immediate board effects, and you are almost waiting to start all your shenanigins. Not to mention you have a couple of things that trigger on attack or combat damage, but the things you would be attacking with can easily be blocked. Compared to something like artistocrats, with creating so many sac creatures and having dictate of erobos, now thats yummy. Have you played this deck alot irl? If so how did the games go? what problems did you encounter? Im curious cuz i want to build a treasure theme but dont know the reliability, cheers.
@@zabloing4475 I play it all the time and it's great! There are plenty of early threats. When you have three opponents, at least one is always open during combat for things like Captain Lannery, Ragavan, and Magda to start getting treasures right away. But Old Gnawbone is really the best card in the deck. It wins games by itself honestly, especially if I get out Aggravated Assault or Hellkite Charger. Dockside and Temur Sabretooth does it easily. The earlier I can make treasures, the faster I can win. There's a lot of tutor effects in this deck so it's sometimes too easy haha
It's worth it any tribal deck! That being said, I've done a lot of changes to this deck recently. The deck list in the description should be updated. Went much more treasure heavy and less dragon stuff. It's a little more focused now. Still needs some fine tuning though!

You are missing a ton of interaction. I built mine with chaos warp, putrefy, ect...since we have mana for days. Plus u forgot all the tutors (grim, diabolic, demonic, vampiric) and protection for korvold. Korvold makes stuff like veil of autumn become a cantrip
@@mtgtomescourer I'd see it as a decent colorless replacement for something like Viscera Seer. It about doubles the qty of sacrifices your creatures are worth (harmonic series) but with Chatterfang, it gets pretty crazy.

I was building this concept as well and then start thinking to move to Kenrith ( still treasure) due to the presence of monologue tax,smo tithe and Tezzeret (dimir planes walker)that deals damage to each opponent equal to the number of artifacts you have. Probably is too slow tho. The fastest to create treasure is surely prosper.

Pretty slick build. I really like prosper and couldn't imagine having both decks so similar though.

My deck is very similar to yours, I’d recommend adding Nadier’s Nightblade, Reckless Fireweaver, and Mayhem Devil. They have all won games for me.

I think you are mentioning torment of hailfire with the XX. Blood money is a 5bb drop.

Definitely that Artifact that taps lands to make treasure. And possibly the creature that gives treasures when a creature with haste attacks.
I added Ziatora the Incinerator to my copy of this deck I feel its a good edition on theme with the dragons wby?
What would you say the power level of this deck is?
I'd say about a 7. If it had more tutors and rocks, probably 8-9. I'm about to update it very soon with all the new Treasure support as of late!

None that I can think of off the top of my head! But Midnight Hunt gave me a couple of new Oozes and new basics for my Mimeoplasm deck though!
korvold does like treasure! you should def be running rhythm of the wild, cracking treasures just to have your big dragons countered can end you.
