The Chinese automotive giant, Chery Auto, has Revealed the Jetour Traveller Stargazer, a new multi-purpose SUV model. It is Brand's 4-wheel drive model designed in the style of off-road vehicles for the Chinese market, known as Silver Dragon Wing Edition in China. Serving as the inaugural vehicle under the JMK sub-brand, the Silver Dragon Wing has undergone various upgrades, enhancing its overall rugged appeal.
In terms of Exterior design, the Jetour Traveller Stargazer is equipped with accessories that enhance the vehicle's robustness. Included are features like an external storage compartment on one side and a fold-down ladder on the other. The SUV also boasts a roof rack, giving it a distinct appearance reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender, especially when viewed from the rear.
In terms of other modifications from the base version, Stargazer will feature a new front bumper with an integrated bull bar, a ventilated hood, LED strips on the front grille, and side steps, and a protective cover for the taillights. Additionally, there's a newly designed storage compartment on the tailgate, resembling a spare wheel mount. The SUV rides on a set of 20-inch wheels fitted with 255/55R20 tires, ready to tackle diverse road surfaces.
Inside the 2024 Stargazer cabin, you'll find a 10.25-inch LCD dashboard paired with a 15.6-inch central control screen, equipped with the Qualcomm 8155 chip that supports FOTA updates. Additional features include a premium audio system with 12 SONY speakers, an automatic air conditioning system, a panoramic sunroof, and an electric tailgate.
The overall dimensions of the JMK Traveller Stargazer measure 4782 mm in length, 2036 mm in width, and 1960 mm in height. It features a substantial wheelbase spanning 2800 mm.
The Jetour JMK Traveller Stargazer maintains its powertrain with a 2.0T engine model SQRF4J20 coupled with a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission, delivering a robust performance with a maximum power output of 187 kW and a peak torque of 390 Nm. Notably, the fuel consumption is recorded at 10.89 L per 100 km. Additionally, the new car comes equipped with an XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel-drive system, enabling automatic distribution of torque to the rear wheels for enhanced driving dynamics.
The Jetour Traveller Stargazer will cost from £24400 and the previous version Jetour Traveller light off-road SUV price will start from £15600 - £20600

Nothing will replace a Land Rover, for lovers of Land Rovers especial those who love older Land Rovers.
The likes of Land Rover Series One, Two or Three, or even the old Defender, plus the Range Rover Classic and Discovery Series One and Two, maybe the older Freelander models as well.
Sadly the Newer Land Rover models, whether Range Rover, Discovery and Defender too, have been turn into rich people very expensive Luxury SUV's, especially the new land Rover Hybrid Electric Vehicles or pure Electric Vehicle offering's.
Are sadly more suitable for international big cities, than off-roading in the Desert to the Arctic via the Jungles of the World.
Though this Chines new SUV, look like a cheap copy of the new, Land Rover Defender, which will not take sales away from Land Rover owners who love their Landy's
