    Fantastic!
The model Dalek being used in Masterplan was a real revelation to me.
It's great to think that even with nearly 56 years of history, new information is coming to light.
    Thanks.

03:03 Fascinating, I was listening to a lecture on the radio last night about how vivid false memories can created by post-factual suggestion. Maureen O'Brien is likely not wilfully lying here. Rather, her brain has spontaneously generated a memory to reconcile this apparent evidence of her having been on the dunes that day with her internal sense of reality.

    8:50
Imagine that Dalek attending conventions and doing stage talks:
"When I got the job, I realised I had big boots to fill, so to speak... (person's name) was a lovely director... I remember, I had to be buried in sand, for a certain amount of time. I thought, once they'd placed me within it, they would bugger off and let me suffer, just for a laugh, you know...But luckily that wasn't the case..."
(Talks about The Chase again) "Bill wasn't quite talkative to us, off set. Apparently he was a bit miffed, due to the fact William Russell and Jacqueline Hill were leaving. Of course, he worked with them ever since the show started, and he didn't like goodbyes, so..."
(Talks about Power Of The Daleks) "Pat was lovely to work with. Not only was he a breath of fresh air (you know, because of Bill being Bill), but he was such a delight!"
"Genesis Of The Daleks is No.1 ... Not just for many fans, but it was the dog's bollocks for me, mainly because it was the highlight of my acting career! Not only did I have lines to say, but I lead a revolution, so to speak! And even better, I gave the order to exterminate Davros!"

I've seen the American guy driving that series 3 and I love that video too. Fantastic work and research! It's bizarre that the model Dalek looks far more screen accurate on the original recording than it is now.

Great video -very informative and made with care. I love anything to do with classic Who (Hated the modern version). When I was young in the eighties my brother got hold of a wooden shell of a full size Dalek that his friend was getting rid of. It had no appendages but I loved it being in our back garden. Unfortunately my Dad wanted us to get rid of it (eyesore or issue with splinters, who knows) and when we didnt get rid he chopped it up with an axe.Happy Days
