@@synthsamuraiproductions looking forward to seeing your take on it. A few things to consider. As you stated, "U gotta pay with ur time." This is true of any synth, even those costing no money to acquire. The less time put in to mastering the synth the less value you get from it assuming it is capable of producing sounds you want to begin with. If you spend the hundreds of hours to master a synth to where it is second nature to you then the purchase price is nothing compared to that even if that was several thousand dollars. Which types of sounds/patches do you need for the music style(s) you create? Do you record live multi-track or one track at a time? Limiting yourself to and mastering just the synths you need for that is a big part of effective and efficient production IF that is the primary goal. There is NOTHING wrong with collecting a LOT of synths and enjoying that collection however you want.
This is genius of them because all those who might not be able to afford a physical behringer will want to save up for one after playing on their laptop.
Yeah brother very very easy to map to hardware controller but switching presets im Not sure. Annoying that i have to Remap every preset individually unless im missing something
I'd definitely like to try it, but in this moment it's impossible, I can't find the page. P.S. The VST scene is NOT locked down by Arturia at all. While i think they're still the "standard" for vintage synths VST emulations (and not for VSTs in general), there are plenty of alternatives, both better sounding and cheaper.
@@synthsamuraiproductions EDIT: For some mysterious reason my previous comment has disappeared. I was suggesting you other brands (apart from the excellent Cherry Audio), like TAL and UJAM, and I tried to explain the special UJAM niche about "automatic"/"easy to use" VSTs, aimed to beginners or for some instrument which is not the focus of your production. If you want to know how they sound, check the UJAM video on my channel (an entry for a competition I made before I discovered your channel). I only used UJAM "automatic" stuff on that, with the Virtual Pianist in the main place because the competion was about that specific instrument.
Nice. I've gotten further and further from relying on soft synths over the years, but it's still cool to see them getting into the plugin game. I'd love to see some free or budget-friendly IR-based convolution reverbs, multi-band compressors, stereo imaging, maybe a nice Pultec clone...I guess we'll just have to wait and see what's in store for the future.

Sounds like a classic analog synth.
