This recipe works - but the flavor is almost exclusively down to the chocolate you use. If you use 100% cocoa baking chocolate, that is the flavor you will get.

4 apples
200 g of chocolate about 50%-60% cocoa
50 g of milk chocolate

I tried it 3 times from different chocolates , but it didn't work.
It won't settle as they show

What about the excess water from the apples? Did you discard it?

Type of chocolate and fridge set times are important. Also the excess liquid from apples can affect it.

Most kind of apples will be ok - Honey Gold, Fuji, Gala, Granny Smith

What chocolate did you use? Maybe if the chocolate is too bitter, it will change the taste
