I'm sure the lcds are laminated sheets of glass. I'd like to see you do the same again, but apply extra heat, to get the glue soft, then push some glue from places that are laminated good, then apply some pressure while it cools. It's just a theory. But might work.

Necroposting, I've seen this issue before, so just leaving what I heard and read about it. In advance: there is no fix.
I might be wrong, so don't trust my comment alone.
So, the way these things work, indistinguishable from magic :P, is that they are a sandwich of polarizing filters and transparent electrode substrates... plus you know, protective layers and in the case of these Game & Watch things, the layer with fixed art.
But of course, it can't be only that. It needs a special chemical, which is the liquid crystal part of Liquid Crystal Display, that changes properties when electricity is applied. I have no clue about chemistry details, but basically this liquid forms a structure that becomes opaque the more electricity is passing through, using the polarizers, and that's how the image forms. Oversimplified explanation, but enough.
Ok, back to the case. It seems that the cases in which old LCD panels develop black blotches and whatnot, majority of cases, is because this liquid crystal chemical degrades overtime. It becomes another sort of chemical compound which does not behave the same way the original formula does, so it just accumulates there. I've read some people saying this could be drained somehow, but you have more chances of damaging the entire panel. It's highly dependent on case.
For instance, if your panel already delaminated a bit right between the layer the liquid is trapped, it might be work trying to drain it out. This is why you have people saying they pushed the blotches out... their panels were probably already a tiny bit delaminated on the borders.
But this blotch issue can develop even if the panel hasn't delaminated, and it's just too easy to completely destroy these panels while trying to separate it's layers. Not to mention external contamination and whatnot. Those things are not made to work if they come apart, and it's likely they won't last long if they are already a bit delaminated, because then you have oxidation and other stuff to worry about overtime.
Yeah... think that's more or less it. If anyone know this subject better, please do correct.

Nice try, pity you weren't successful. What's the antistatic tray you use? It looks very functional.

Damn, I used to have one of these, it was a mario one though and tbh never liked the actual game, you just moved the guy up and down levels to catch packages on conveyor belts, had zero to do with mario. Sister had the Zelda one which was much better as it was more like an actual game.

If you press the time button while a game is playing I believe that should stop the game.

Call me a “conspiracy theorist”, but my suspicious mind thinks, these guys have already dismantled the object in question already and half diagnosed the problem, before the camera is turned on 🤔
    Is it just me..?
    It usually is 😂😂😂👍
