So glad I found your channel. About to have a bathroom added in our basement - we don’t have a rough in. My husband has done all of our previous home renovations but we are going with a contractor for this big job. We are trying to decide if we want a drop in shower, carrara panels or large ceramic tiles….. so many decisions 😩😩😩
Yes. I like to be able to control it on materials like quartzite. I’m a lead installer and it works on all. It’s literally like a battery powered matabo. You’ll love it
Awesome! I just ordered, can I ask... What are the specs for the accessories (arbor etc) What are your favourite accessories for the DCG416VSB? What is that cone shaped grinder attachment???? Thanks for such a great review!
Another great video. The work you do is amazing. I am just finishing up my first tile job ever. Installed 12"x24" polished porcelain in my new shower. Your videos really helped me through the entire project. Question, how to remove the dried grout haze? Rookie mistake on my end not cleaning it well enough before it dried. I used the Mapei Flexcolor CQ grout. Keep the videos coming.
Nicely done review man. I like it, very similar to the new Metabo HPT 4.5-6”braking grinder which I just got and is very nice, although it’s not quite as Powerful as the dcg814 or whatever it is the flex volt 6” but it’s still got plenty in the tank the flex volt is just a brute
I bought the DeWALT 20V MAX Orbital Sande (DCW210B), foolishly thinking that the 50 grit diamond pads would be good enough to remove the top layer of my concrete tiles...long story short, thank you for posting this video, it is exactly what I was looking for. My question for you; do you think this cordless grinder would work with any of DeWalt's Diamond Cup Wheels? I know that a diamond cup is probably what I need to grind down to expose my aggregate. I'm making 6x6x0.5 inch tiles. Any advice on exposing aggregate or size of wheel would be amazing. Thanks for this video!
@@LandbergTileTV Oddly, I’ve got one on my right wrist too. No idea but I have taken falls. Didn’t think it had any thing to do with power tools vibrations or injuries. Guess I’ll do some Googling on the subject? I’m looking for a decent circulating saw that’s cordless for using batteries for tools we already have, one for sure I know/remember is the Ryobi. I’m surprised the attachments, blades don’t have better organization cases, like they have for people that fish.
Good to see your finally using a Variable! Keep on Keepen on!

Time to add to the arsenal. 👍🏼
Nice review as always. Good luck trying to find one of these in stock.
can thos grinder be locked on without having to press the paddle ?
What's that grinder attachment you're using there to clean up circle cuts?
Good question
Assuming you’re not asking for the specific product he’s using, he’s using a grinding cone or chamfering grinder, and probably a diamond type.
You think it’s would work good with cutting granite that’s 1 1/4 “ thick and making holes too?
Yes. I like to be able to control it on materials like quartzite. I’m a lead installer and it works on all. It’s literally like a battery powered matabo. You’ll love it
@ thanks for the feed back I hate looking for power on the job site and running extension cords
Is it variable speed SOFT trigger as well? I need variable speed soft trigger
Do you have it for sale at your Amazon store ?

Super simple, pick up some grout haze remover from home depot or lowes, works everytime!
@@LandbergTileTV Thank you
Can you review the dcg405b?

Awesome video, we need to purchase this grinder. What kind of polishing pads and backer bad is the in the video?
Nice. But not using the guard when cutting is nuts.

I have a question 🙋♂️ can you use a regular dewalt battery with this grinder ? ( not a flex volt battery )
