Plot twist this message is just to lure you into a false sense of security so that you will help the guy which is just the games way of opening the door to let him in, in which he will kill you once inside the vehicle or pull you out to do what he said the townspeople would do. He told you everything in Hope's that he is really trying to help you and him.

There’s a logical inconsistency. How are we supposed to save him? It sounds like the writer is tricking others. If we save him by giving his gas, aren’t we the ones leaving our cars refuel his? He’s definitely trying to save himself.
what if it's a deal where he can go free if he brings x amount of new people into the game?
Anyone pick up on the fact that in order to save him you will most likely have to get out of your car? That seems suspicious.
Good spot. They could try to work around that: perhaps refueling from the window of your car, parking side-by-side and allowing him to climb over through the windows of the cars so that he is never fully outside, towing ect. These are risky and could have unpredictable results, though.
Yeah, he said that the message won’t reach people in the manner he intended it to. It’s likely a trick of the town.
And he said that if you get lost around that part of town, you'll run o out of gas so what if the same thing happens to whoever tries to save him

I love the "rules" creepypastas but for some reason I generally hate the ritual ones. I guess I want more of a story rather than instructions on doing a fake ritual as if it was real.

I'm so so so glad to see a simple title here. No "I played a GPS game and now I regret it" or "...and I shouldn't have". It is simple and provokes more thought and interest in few words than big titles

I wish there were more stories that give you instructions to follow. They be the most interesting and I wish they were longer.
I will personally never understand games like this. What do you get out of this? A bit of a thrill? A sense of achievement for finding the place? If this was real and you actually did this for whatever reason then I award you this Darwin award.

One of the better creepy pastas I’ve heard in awhile. Better than the video game mod stories by far. CreepsMcPasta has a singular talent that is best suited to the good engrossing horror stories.

What a fun game! Drive 4-6 hours on routes you've never taken before, to a supernatural town that wants nothing but to get you out of your car and eat you.

I read the title as the CPS game and I was worried.
This sounds like a game to play with a modified RV that let's you refill from inside the vehicle.

Idk it just doesn't make enough sense to be scary, but the idea is really good! I think the author would just have to change a few things to make it a lot scarier
