How to turn on a unicycle

Roger from unicycle.com shows us the two techniques for turning on a unicycle. He shows how to do the body rotation turn which is the most common for learners and then shows how to lean and turn. He also shows a good exercise to practice this with a figure of 8.

that's a great video Roger, explains the process very well. I was getting the first type of turn wrong, I was trying to twist into the turn, rather than lead with my body and follow up with my hips.

Glad you find the video useful. You can actually combine both techniques, but I think it is good to understand both processes.

Random but practical question. How tall are you? I want to know if I could ride a 36. I for reference him 5'10

I am only 5' 6" so you will have no problem on a 36".
