You may purify it because Mega Mewtwo Y is gonna be more powerful than a shadow Mewtwo and you cannot mega evolve your shadow...

I have a 3star 96% mewtwo with stats that if I purify it’s 100% I almost fall victim to purification hahaha I left it shadow after watching videos about shadow mewtwo. When I had no idea what to do with it. Now it has best buddy ribbon and he’s a beast when I battle other mewtwo with cp higher than mine

My level 40 Lugia beat a level 45ish Shadow Mewtwo with no shields and both Pokemon basically at full health. So I'm ok with fighting him.

is it worth to level up a bad IVs shadow mewtwo? My only shadow mewtwo is 7/6/9 (49%) and I don't know if I should level him up or save for the next shadow mewtwo I catch in the furute.
If you want a strong fire/ice/ghost/electric/psychic type attacked in raids go for the shadow, you you're gonna do pvp use a better iv
Since Girao is a large part of the ml meta, get shadow ball and something else (not psystrike too many dark and ghosts in ml

Yes a 0 percent shadow mewtwo is so much more powerful than a hundo mewtwo, but a hundo can take more charged hits than shadow mewtwo

I've been there yesterday in go battle league I honestly thought I wouldn't get Mewtwo I'm rank 20 but not only did I get Mewtwo I got shiny Mewtwo attack bar is full the other 2 were decent all combined it got a 3 star appraisal and it's my first ever shiny legendary pokemon

@@katiewilliams2729 nice one ive only gotten one shiny Pokémon from GBL I think which is a skarmory which you bet I used in great league however shiny mewtwo is one of my fav shinies and I waited a long time for mewtwo to come back it was at the end of 2020 and I was begging for mewtwo back and eventually when kanto tour came I got a shiny mewtwo 3 raids later and then the next raid I got a 2nd one, the IVs sucked but I didn’t care
I'm a new player so I don't do much of 2.5k cap or no cp limit pvp, but shadow mewtwo absolutely destroys type mismatches in 1.5k cap pvp. It's the only pokemon I've seen at that level that can basically two shot pokemon (type advantage) with the fast attacks lol

Some normal form might be better for pvp because shadow Pokémon takes more damage, and in pvp defense stats are more important, but like you shouldnt purify legendaries because its the same as normal
I have 3 purified legendary hondos. 😳 I use them all in pvp. Love destroying shadow pokémon with them.😇

Lol I prefer hundos over any shadow pokémon but in all honesty I do more PVP than raids so I prefer the candy and stardust discount and the stats and CP boosts. I did keep my shadow mewtwo though it’s always a risk with shadow pokémon. Do you play PVP?
@@1abystander I do play pvp, that's why it made me even more confused when you said you play as well. Any shadow Pokemon (even if it was 0/0/0 iv's) is stronger than it's 100 IV counterpart, doesn't make sense to purify them
@@ChewedUpSpaghetti shadow sounds amazing in theory but it doesn’t translate well into practice. I can only have one shadow pokémon in any of my teams because they are too risky for me. When I go against a full shadow team I always win. I think they are more vulnerable than they are valuable. I would like to see a mirror match between hundos and shnundos that might really settle the debate for me.
Shadow ball psystrike mewtwo always better in PVP than psy strike focus blast? Cuz the only team I’ve seen be AAAA in PVPoke was paystrike focus blast mewtwo, thunder iron head dialga, and either giratina with ideal moves

My strongest is Galarian Obstagoon. Almost lvl 50 but what I'm most proud of is my 100% 4 star squirtel.

@@sandurangasiriwardana1930 XL candies are from lvl 30+, and you can only increase by an extra 2 every lvl after (stops at lvl 40 which is when your pokemon can be lvl 50)

Im not sure you heard but it's coming back in less than 2 weeks, they don't release it every year as the last time they had shadow Mewtwo was about 2 yrs ago, so definitely not something they do yearly, however they do know there are constantly new players that start playing and would like one so like every 2-3 years shadow Mewtwo makes a comeback

@Vash Lestro Well, just for those 34000 mewtwo candys he had to do like around 75000-8000 Mewtwo raids... Which means that even if we factor in daily free raid passes and boxes with discount and events with multiple free raid passes etc, he still spent upwards of 7000$ just for Mewtwo alone.... Which is insane😅 And that is just Mewtwo... He also constantly has a lucky egg and a starpiece on, and also constantly has egg incubators, plus the fact that he for sure also raided othe Pokémon like an absolute madman... And he is playing since day 1... I mean just the lucky eggs cost 1250 pokecoins each day if he plays an estimate of 10 hours. Plus the starpieces, for 10 hours this is again 1600 pokecoins per day. So those items alsone have a daily cost of 2850 pokecoins. Now, if he is buying the biggest pokecoin package, you get around 132 pokecoins per 1$ spent. This means, that to cover the daily cost of JUST LUCKY EGGS AND STARPIECES, not counting incubators, raid passes, etc, he spends 21$ per day for pokemon go. Pokemon go was released on the 6th of July 2016, so almost exactly 6 years ago. 6 years are 2190 days, every day 21$ equates to 54.750$ spent. If now we factor in all the raid passes bought, incubators bought, lure modules, smoke, etc, my estimate would be that he spent somewhere around 100.000-150.000$ in total.

Purifying a pokemon makes it go to lvl 25 😉 usually shadow are lvl 10. Idk what happen if you purify a pokemon more than lvl 25 however but yeah puryfing dont add cp if pokemon is lvl 25< in my opinion

@@__shoe__ Only for raids, not for pvp unless you're willing to constantly shield it. It takes a big hit on defence. I wish people would look into this stuff more rather than just always assuming shadows are better. Shadows with an already lower defence aren't always a better option that the hundo.

Depends on what you want but a 0/0/0 shadow mewtwo does more damage than a hundo normal mewtwo. I personally use a 1* shadow mewtwo along with 98% kyogre and a 92% dialga for pvp and that shit slaps
