    I like this video because it's rookie friendly, not worried about perfection and positioning your wheels one inch to the left of this curb or that. Just a general guide to having at least an enjoyable and mishap free lap.

    Avon Rise in the wet must be a bit bottom clenching. Looking to do my first ever trackday and I'm wondering if Combe is a bit too difficult for an absolute novice.

      Avon Rise used to be a proper RISE ,it got levelled out for safety reasons.....

      Mark has often used 2.0TDi Audi A4 for instruction, sometimes a Toyota Avensis! Just to prove that it's all about the driver and the inputs they make to the car.

    Avon Rise and Quarry account for about 95% of the Castle Combe crash and action videos on RUclips :)

    Are the lines petty much the same for a bike?

    • @merlinmotorsport
      @merlinmotorsport  7 лет назад

      Hello. The lines are similar for bikes. Although bikes do use an extra chicane just before the last corner (Camp Corner). It may be worth contacting the circuit for more advice. www.castlecombemotorcycling.co.uk

    Having a rear view and front, off car is just confusing. Keep to driver's POV
