Great idea for a video. I'm so behind on reading Christian Fiction. I've collected quite a bit of it that I really want to get to. Most of mine are older authors, and I don't really know anything about some of the newer Christian authors. I definitely want to check out Melanie Dickerson's books in the not to distant future, since I've heard you talk about her so much.
I don't know if you've read it or not, but I highly recommend the book 'Wonder'. Although it's not Christian, it's really is amazing and is my all time favourite book. Also, I personally do not read Christian fiction, but I really enjoy your videos!

ChristianYABooksandMore It's about a boy named August who was born with facial deformities and has had loads of surgeries so he had to be homeschooled. But then he starts going to a real secondary school. Won't say anymore about the plot but it is really amazing.

Often you can find them on sale at your local christian bookstore. And even some thrift stores you can get a nice purchase! There are other online stores that can give good deals too, like christianbooks.com. I would suggest googling what's in your area, start with that and then find a good online store. Hope this helps! When you keep saying "with a Christian perspective," I'm so confused as to what's meant by that. Is it just that the author's Christian worldview subtly comes out in the clean story/plot, or that there is a heavy gospel theme and/or preaching?
Thank you so much for this! It is the first point you made. It is referring to the subtly that comes out in the clean story/plot. Non of the books that I read are heavily gospel themed with preaching. Why are we trying to find replacements for books we should be trying to get rid of, replacements mean your not ready to give up the thing your supposed to be giving up.
Hi Moesha, Thanks for your comment. My goal and hope is to do just that. To lovingly present other options of reading that maybe people aren't aware are out there and can have. I never knew there was such a wonderful array of books that present Christ and the hope of salvation, or that encourage the readers to look at life in new eyes, to learn new things with the world-view of Christian faith, or to simply have clean entertainment, instead of worldly entertainment. I hope you too are shining the light of Christ and directing others to follow Him.
