This is the BEST explanation of ANCOVA I've heard yet, and I am so glad to finally understand how to apply it to my research properly! Thank you SO much!
It's tough to subscribe to anyone on RUclips, but what you have presented here has given me the impression to subscribe. Thanks for the clarity, and keep on the excellent work.
Big B is back!!! (I thought i was alone in this tough neighborhood called statistics...but Brandon's back to guide us through.!!!!) So glad to see you're still doing these videos!!!!! Stats to me is such a "beautiful and alluring... but hard to approach creature"I am getting there slowly however. I am still pushing my way through my classes but I plan on contributing towards the continued development of some of the best videos out there. (as all who benefit should if they can...from these videos!!!!! Folks at my university are calling out your videos by name ("That Foltz guy is the best for...") to students looking for the best entrance into the world of Statistics. THANK YOU SIR!!!!!
This is so helpful and easy to understand! I just got a job in statistical programming though I am an infant in statistics. Thank you Brandon for raising me to the teenage :)
Thank you. Very well done. I hope you do the next video w/ complete examples and visuals like your "Statistics 101: One-way ANOVA, A Visual Tutorial" Thanks again for creating this.
Amazing video I learned a lot! I have a quick question, if I only have two populations to compare (for instance year 1 and year 2), and I still want to put GPA in as a covariate. Would ANCOVA still be the best option here? Thank you very much!!
Yes you can! A few ways to approach it but in that case you would have two feature variables and then the target. Feature 1 would be the year (binary: 0 and 1) and Feature 2 the GPA continuous covariate. Thanks for watching Haopeng!
What you mean by saying "3. how can we CONTROL for initial differences between groups either due to chance or because observations cannot be randomized fully?'
Hi I am currently doing a research and I am confuse of using which statistical analysis in my hypothesis. If I would like to test the hypothesis "Is there a significant effect of gender differences and personality traits influence on mate selection?" Which statistical analysis should I use?
Hi Brandon, Thanks for the video, it's my first time here and I thought was very helpful. However, I've a question about the covariate. Is the covariate supposed to be continuous or I can also use a categorical variable as a covariate? I've been told that covariate is always continuously measured and a cofactor may be categorical. I'm used to work with SPSS and we have different boxes to set up. I know you're busy, but I'd appreciate if you take a time to answer me. Thank you!
Sir, could you please tell, which screen recorder and video editing tools you use for content creation. I'm looking for a reliable screen recorder and video editor for making R programming videos. In past 6 month, I have used movie maker for video editing but from this year January Microsoft discontinued support for movie maker in win 10.
Very great explanation, more clear, much better than the current course "Learning Statistics" taught by a Harvey Mudd College professor in "Great Courses Plus".
So basically, ANCOVA seeks to reduce both random and systematic error by considering the influence of one or more covariates on the dependent variable.
best instructor in statistics I have ever had... not only am I learning statistics, I am acquiring peace of mind!
This is the BEST explanation of ANCOVA I've heard yet, and I am so glad to finally understand how to apply it to my research properly! Thank you SO much!
Thank you, Brandon. You make us smarter.
I'm crying because you are back!! I love your video tutorials 😭

great video...great graphics and no unnecessary material...time saver
Easy to sink in and thorough. Good job, Brandon!
it is so clear! nothing compared to any information found in ramdon sites in the web, i really liked your way of explianing, thanks for sharing it!!
Very clearly put. Using an actual example made it much easier to follow.
Thank you! You are good teacher. I have learned a lot already from this one watch. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowedge.
Comprehensive and clear definition of ANCOVA. Thanks
Thank you so much for this comprehensive and concise video lesson on ANCOVA ❤

Glad to see you back. :)
Excellent video! Makes understanding this topic easy!
Excellent video and explanation!
The best explanation I've come across, thank you so much!
What is the follow-up video showing how to go through the steps of the ANCOVA process, checking assumptions, etc.?
This is so helpful and easy to understand! I just got a job in statistical programming though I am an infant in statistics. Thank you Brandon for raising me to the teenage :)
Thank you man! Really helped me grasp the overall picture of ANCOVA.
Instablaster...
Very clear explanation. Thank you
Thanks a lot. You are a true lifesaver!!
Awesome explanation Brandon! Thank you!!!
Thank you vero much! Very clear and vero helpfull!
The best video on ANCOVA! Thanks!
Thank you so much! I wish my prof taught like this
Glad to see you back
great and clear explanation !
You are a treasure. Thank you!
Pls do a video on MANOVA and MANCOVA
looking forward to your new version!!!!that's pretty helpful!!!!
Thank you for this great content !
Thanks Sir and its highly appreciable and useful
wow so clear, thank you so much!
You are really awesome ... Your videos helped me a lot to improve:)
Thank you. Very well done. I hope you do the next video w/ complete examples and visuals like your "Statistics 101: One-way ANOVA, A Visual Tutorial"
Thanks again for creating this.
Thank you. Great explanations.
I stumbled upon your channel about a year ago while looking for something else. I've been coming back to it every now n then. Great job!
glad to see you back Brendon
This video is a vital and great presentation. THANKS
Please elaborate on what is meant by "adjusted for"?
Very nice lecture
i think Ancova needs more videos. of how to actually do them. please make more videos regarding ancova.
Hey Brandon, thank you very much It was informative.

@@BrandonFoltz that makes sense, thank you so much Brandon!
I'm new to statistics, I understand the basic but I want to know from where do I start learning, I'm studying to become a data analyst
glad to see you sir
What you mean by saying "3. how can we CONTROL for initial differences between groups either due to chance or because observations cannot be randomized fully?'
This video is great, thanks!
Can't we just block by Gpa to adjust by the differences?

Hi Brandon, thank you for all of these videos which makes statistics understandable no matter your level. Will you be doing Mancova in the future ?
Please add more videos.

how GPA is calculated??
Thank you good sir
thanks a lot
