    Am currently enrolled at cellular and molecular biology master degree, advanced curriculum studies in Italy.
    I wish to begin my work as a research assistant in molecular virology after I completed my studies.
    Cambridge is my target to explore more there in future

    We are soo appreciative of your content! I love to see you romanticising my future career hahah 😁
    I have a question I'd like to ask: do you think biomedical research jobs care about whether applicants did a lab/literature-based/work project?
    Everyone is saying that jobs don't care about degrees as much nowadays since they're very common; they're looking for people with experience. I'm definitely gonna go for internships and other stuff to build up experience, and I feel doing like a work project may be a good idea (but a lab or literature project can demonstrate research skills). Do you know if these kind of jobs prefer to hire students who did a particular type of project? If they do care, which do you think is most favoured? Tyy!

    Hi, im about to enter AS/A Levels and would really like to know what kind of subjects and major could be useful for doing research in a similar field like yours. Im also going to go abroad and really cannot choose between bachelor + MD-PhD or bachelor honours and PhD. Any guidance is appreciated. Your videos are so motivating and i love science! Thank you!

      Hi! I talked about my personal experience including what subjects I took during A Levels, my undergrad degree and masters that landed me my current research job! You can check it out here:

    Love your videos! I'm going to start as a RA in Cambridge myself. Could you give any tips on how to find a reliable accommodation?

    • @biomedwithvy
      @biomedwithvy  11 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you!! If you’re part of the university I’d definitely recommend university accommodation as they’re reliable and subsidised in pricing compared to market value. Otherwise, Zoopla and Rightmove are good places to look. If you’re interesting in sharing with housemates, Shareroom is a good shout. Areas near Cherry Hinton, Mill Road, Jesus Green are pretty popular city centre spots.

    Warm regards,
    Could you please tell me about the universities in uk that don't require BMAT for biomedical sciences. Actually I was trying to get it but it isn't clearly mention anywhere so could you please reply 😊

    • @biomedwithvy
      @biomedwithvy  Год назад

      If I’m not mistaken, Oxford University is the only UK uni that requires BMAT for biomedical sciences, other unis don’t require this unless you’re applying for Medicine.

    8.5 million cells? Isn't it too much? We keep them at 500000/ml, even 2 million is too many for us 😮
