Can't find an answer to this question anywhere. Are the magnets in the case strong enough to slap the back of my phone onto a fridge or any other metal magnetic flat surface?

Hi. Is it still effective to use the peak design phone case with a common 3rd party magnetic car mount (the one that does not support wireless charging) ?

As someone who’s been using Peak Design for the last 6 months straight, they have designed their cases to be proprietary with their accessories, just like Apple with Apple certified accessories.
The magnets are super strong compared to everything else on the market and paired with Peak Design acceptors you’ll get the top notch strength. I have their wall mount as a phone holder in my semi truck, and it’s not fallen off the mount since the day I got it. So I would recommend getting Peak Design mount, even though it is more expensive than 3rd party, it’ll work a lot better. Just beware, my case from everyday use has worn the fabric off over top of the magnets and it’s only a matter of time before they show through, and possibly fall out/off the case.

Hi can you tell me are the edges along the power , speaker and volume controls are weak where you can pull them ? or are they rigid?
    Thanks

It's not super rigid but solid. I've taken the case on and off a couple times with no issues so far. I know some of my previous cases would break there but I haven't had that issue yet.
