It's a movie.. all the cast are actors from that time period. When the director says "cut" the black and white actors will interact and practice lines.

@@MrJ-dc3yz Correction. Wakanda, and in general, Black Panther came out in 1966. This movie came out in 1977, 11 years after Black Panther number 1. So Wakanda did, in fact, come out before this movie.

You're certainly in the age for remakes. Forget originality.
Nothing has changed after 50 - 60 years even more. That poor Wade boy shooting by the Pasadena Police Dept 10 years ago is really sad and I cannot ever forget it. And I am not black. And the family was forced to settle for hundred thousand dollars for wrongful death. Really sad.

I'm a white guy I remember this happening in Boston, chicago...this movie has history behind it. I'm saving it. Thanks you tube. Oh, by the way; my wife's asian, my 2nd cousin is 1/2 mexican, I have 4 adopted African American cousins (1 fought in afghanistan), and my uncle shot nazis in ww2.

Always with the babbling and attempted misinformation. Even if there were nicer white folks in LA (which I would find hard to believe), the movie isn’t about them. This movie correctly depicts the racist actions and attitudes of the vast majority of white people in LA and most of the US during that time period. We already know what it was and didn’t need this movie, as great as it was, to remind us. FOH!

This movie is lossing believability with me. When the son gets shot and theirs not even a pretense of police involvement! The other scene where the white woman falls out after tusseling with the boy over the frisbee then , nothing happens that makes sense!
