1:04 Definitely NOT for the Faint of Heart. Thank you that says it all. It is a phone to keep in contact for the young at heart who have good eyes and nimble touch control
Sustainable products need to become more accessible, rather than milking the short lifespan of a product for easy cash. Shoe and electronic companies specifically I’ve seen doing this more recently and it’s a great step away from vapid consumerism.
Hey dude just gotta say, the vibes in this video are absolutely immaculate. Feels so much more laid back than other tech reviewers. Love the simplicity and authenticity. I want to start unplugging myself from social media and cutting my media addictions soon too, so its good know how usable a tool like this actually is. Great job man.
I thought I responded to this already. But I didn't. -- I am very blessed and encouraged by your comment. Thank you so so much! -- I'm trying to make content that is laid back and true to my personality... -- I am so thankful for you.
really interesting video. dont know if i could make the leap myself, but i imagine what it could be like. great production quality too, youre obviously very passionate about this :)
@LaughingDad Awesome to hear the good and the bad (and the overall positive) of the LP2! My buddy has had it for 3 years as his daily driver and loves it for many of the same reasons, from the intentionality to the company behind it. I was curious of your general thoughts or if you are going to make a video on the LP3! I’ve pre-ordered and I’m stoked to make it my daily driver phone
I will absolutely be reviewing and keeping up with the Light Phone 3. . . Mine is pre-ordered and should be here in January pending any unforeseen hiccups in their production timeline! -- Huge fan of Light!
They have a battery replacement offering now that you can utilize through their website. -- If you're buying new, you should easily get 1 or 2 days. Used battery would see about a day. Cell services greatly impacts the battery life. If you have poor service, plan to recharge more often.
I think the perfect use for this device is for middle school age kids. I bought one for my 12yr old son since he often has to walk home by himself and I didn't feel comfortable giving him an actual smartphone and all the baggage that comes with
Great use case for sure. -- Kids need not be on social media in my opinion. Studies show how negatively it impacts their mental health and overall growth.

Just because something can be made cheaply doesn't mean it should...

Nice video. Thank you. Really like the simplicity of your thinking and messaging.
That means a lot. Thank you!
This is an excellent device and can help you break free of your Internet smartphone addiction. I'm looking forward to the Light Phone 3
Only issue is, no Spotify. I would switch and never look back if it has An easy Spotify fucntion
Completely understand your position. -- I just made a video on this exact topic and why it's not an issue for me...
Thanks for the update! Appreciate it.
Appreciate the support (on this video and the other one!)
Thank you so much!

Very interesting. Thank u
Thank you for commenting and watching!
I might get something like this if I didn't hate my job. Definitely seems like post-revolutionary tech.
If you didn't hate your job? I'm curious what you mean!
lol, if this thing had that brilliant keyboard like the old blackberries had, I would get this in a heartbeat.
AMEN -- I keep a Key2 in arms reach at my desk :)

Same question 2 years later. Maybe now?
Inability to move SIM card killed it for me because I still need my smart phone for taking pics of my kids!
I am not fully understanding your comment.
You can't move the SIM card?
Side note. You could still take pictures of your kids if that's a concern?
What about battery life on a daily basis
