- puts away tablet pen and cracks knuckles Ow... Artwork is hard on the paws after awhile... but I have been reminded it is time for uploading, so let us get to the video! Wily Stage 3 is your usual "Capsules of Doom!" stage, with the little intro to refill some of your ammo and so forth, following in Mega Man 3's foot-steps by having a tiny level to get through before the capsules. Other than a cheap shot at the beginning of the stage there is really no threats.
Re-fighting all the robot masters is as simple as always (when using their weaknesses... buster only runs can be a tiny bit tricky). I take down all of them much the same as I did the first time, thus bringing us to the ever infamous Wily.
Wily is quite the mix this time around... His first form is easy, easy, EASY with very predictable shots and he even moves rather slow... The second form however, oh unholy gods almighty of utter TERROR AND PAIN!!! ...Simply put, those shots are hard to dodge, and hitting him with anything but the Drill Bombs is a nightmare. In order to hit this form easily with the Drill Bombs, remember you can detonate them early by pressing the fire button once more. Detonate them before they hit Wily's machine so the explosion will damage Wily... otherwise it is more than likely to just get deflected, thus, wasting shots.

Note: At the end, with Dr. Wilys second form, don't forget that you have to make the drill explode in front of the green light. Just use the drill and push the same button again so it detonates.
Hey thanks for putting this, I actually found this video because I couldn't beat the second form specifically and I couldn't seem to jump high enough!

I Remember when i was like 12 or so and trying to beat wily's second form. I couldn't figure it out. I never knew you could detonate the Drill Bombs manually at the time. So the only way i thought you could beat him was to stand under him and use the wire to get at his weak point. Yeah i never could get past him like that, so this was the only Classic mega man game i couldn't beat because of that for awhile. That is until Mega Man and Bass came along...
....Hmm. How come Wily's fortress has the re-fighting with the robot masters when Dr Cossack made them?

Because Wily kinda reprogrammed them all, I guess.
@@achaastheoneaboveall2732 And they were very weak because in the original story of the game, dr wily needed dr cossack to create the 8 most powerful robot Masters of all time

Boss music is epic in this game !
That really is evil what they did with Bright Man. Making the amounts of damage he's taken at which he uses the Flash Stopper multiples of four... and then making his weakness do 4 points of damage to him per shot.
Bright Man only uses the Flash Stopper when his remaining health is at 4, 8 or 16
so if you want to defeat him, fire a uncharged shot at him, then use either fully charged shots or Rain Flush for the rest of the battle
I hate toad man. I tried using YOUR strategy; and he KEPT JUMPING ON TOP OF ME UNTIL I DIED! THE TRUE CHEAT-MAN!
finally, someone else who understands my childhood pain! Summed up in 2 simple lines no less. I would start with wire underneath him and take the hits. Then go right into the flames with rush jet, then in desperation rush coil when that ran out. It was awful, and for YEARS all 9 E tanks weren't enough. When I finally beat him it was a truly joyous celebration. This set up the final wily battle with the greatest boss music ever. Yes finally beating MM4 was unbelievably rewarding for me as a kid.

I always perferred to fight Toad Man the other way: charge and let him have it right as he's dancing. Simple rythm, and he's toast.

You can actually KILL Wily in this stage as he tries to escape; just unleash toad man's weapon and watch with glee as you do something that megaman should have done YEARS ago.
But I will warn you: the price for doing this is a HIGH one.
The price is cheap when using Save States.

It's like the game is like, "We can't have any more games if Wily is dead! Go back and let him escape!"

I find this ironic, Bright Man is probably the cheapest robot master in the game, and in the manga he's a total wuss

I always used Ring Boomerang on Wily's first form for some reason, but that's just me.
charged up pharaoh shot can get two for the price of one only if u are willing to accept getting hit. while u have it charged just run up to the enemy and get hit. it will also have the pharaoh shot connect with them if u keep your thumb on charging it. then u can release it and get another charged shot out.
If you jump when bright man lifts his arms, he will shoot at you at least 90% of the time. It's just about placing yourself correctly to avoid the shot from there.
I like to call these type of stage the Robot Master Rematch Arena!

@SeijinMahoutsukai Ring Boomerang's are the first form's weakness, but he's easy enough that you really don't need to bother breaking them out.

At long last Megaman has killed Wily! Only problem is you're stuck there forever. If you haven't tried this trick its worth a shot. Lots of fun killing Wily.

for some reason i always thought that vaccum looked like a tv set on dust man's head. lol i was a little kid when the game came out so what did i know? lol
Regarding your comment about Bright Man being a cheater - have you seen RoahmMythril's revenge video? He points out the trick that allows you to avoid him freezing time. (I assume you've seen it since you two are such good friends. ;-) )

LOL I never knew the second form of Wily even had a weakness let alone it was Drill bomb.
Seriously all those E-tanks collected throughout the game i assumed it was meant for that fight. I only need a couple and hitting the weak spot isn't as hard as it can be... I guess thats how it is when you play a game so much that you can play it in your sleep.

You're not using the Drill Bomb on Toad Man? Wow, considering your knowledge of the weaponry and how you show it off, that is surprising. But then again, you are confident in your abilities so that will suffice.

The Wily Machine 4 (2nd phase) is impossible to beat.
Why didn't you use Drill bombs on toad man?
Have you tried using Skull shield to defend against Brightman's time flash?
The first enemy can be dodged. Just move to the right.

Geez, I hate copy robot stages. they take really long when you first play MM3, 4, 5, and 6.
