This is the most beautiful traditional Limbu's Cholung Park situated in the mountain village of East Nepal. In this day Ubhouli Udhouli festival Limbu community get together in this place and enjoy by singing dancing and having fun with each other. The main show in this day is thier own Limbu culture traditional dance called ( Dhaan Naach). Dhaan Naach is a traditional dance form deeply rooted in Limbu culture, showcasing the unique heritage of the Limbu people. Originating from the Limbuwan region, encompassing parts of Nepal, India, and Bhutan, Dhaan Naach is often performed during significant agricultural events and festivals. The dance is named after "dhaan," which means rice, highlighting its connection to the agricultural practices central to Limbu livelihood. Dhaan Naach is characterized by rhythmic movements that mimic the sowing, planting, and harvesting of rice crops. Dancers, adorned in vibrant traditional attire, use intricate footwork and hand gestures to tell stories of agricultural life, celebrating the symbiotic relationship between the Limbu people and the land. Accompanied by traditional music, including indigenous instruments like madal and tungna, Dhaan Naach is a captivating cultural expression that not only entertains but also preserves the rich heritage of the Limbu community. Through this dance, the Limbu people honor their agrarian roots and the essential role of agriculture in their cultural identity.
