PK, I also recently contracted COVID after nearly three years of careful living to avoid it. I am elderly [80] with a long, long record of heart issues, so I was of the opinion that if I contracted the virus, I was set for transport out of this world to my dear Lord. But alas, it was not to be so. It was an awful experience and slog to endure one of the worst diseases of my long life. But God... But God... But God still has purpose for me here. I continue to teach a large auditorium class of adults, and do supply preaching from time to time. I am still alive, even if weak in my body and in my old age. I will commit to use the remaining, if waning, energies that I have to the glory of my God and Savior. Just wanted you to know that you are not alone when you are sick. I had a deep feeling of separation from the wonderful Christian friends and colleagues I have in my life, but Christ sustained me and has now returned me to the Work. May His name be praised forever!
VERSE 1 Who has held the oceans in His hands Who has numbered every grain of sand Kings and nations tremble at His voice All creation rises to rejoice CHORUS Behold our God seated on His throne Come let us adore Him Behold our King nothing can compare Come let us adore Him! VERSE 2 Who has given counsel to the Lord Who can question any of His Words Who can teach the One who knows all things Who can fathom all His wondrous deeds VERSE 3 Who has felt the nails upon His hands Bearing all the guilt of sinful man God eternal humbled to the grave Jesus, Savior risen now to reign!
I have heard many versions of this hymn and I think I like this rendition best. All those male voices carry a power in them. The other contender is the wonderful CBU University Choir and Orchestra version. Both capture the grandness of the message. This is one of my top 5 Christian songs. It reminds us of the greatness of Who we love and serve.
Howard Huntington A foretaste of glory divine indeed! It's the thought of us all, sisters and brothers - past, present and future overcomers - gathered together lashing praise and worship on the Master for all eternity.
Se oye hermoso, ojala hubiera una versión en español con el mismo ritmo y que se cante de la misma forma sólo un piano y miles de voces unidas, Dios este con ustedes varones del Señor
Hundreds singing and the soprano is the only part anyone know?? Sung very nicely, but I'm very disappointed that it is NOT in four part harmony!!! Btw, I did NOT give it a thumbs down. :There ... once the piano quits banging, you can hear the other parts!!! Kill the piano and let us hear God's voices praising Him!! o)
As the other person said, it's the worship from a very large pastors conference. The audio here is basically the in-house audio for the attenders to hear the piano and the leader, which is why you barely hear all the actual singers. They often provide the 4 part harmony in a printed program but I'm not sure if it was available for this song that year (they hold t4g every 2 years).
O that we would adore Him! Behold our God! Our coming KING! Sing unto the Lord ye people - you make a joyful noise unto the Lord!!! Hallelujah! Bless His Holy Name ! < Nothing can compare !
This glorious hymn got me through covid. I was lonely but never alone. I can't wait to worship Jesus and see His full glory 🙌🏻

I was there at T4G 2016 when we sang this. 10,000 of us singing in unison. It was so humbling.
