Tierlis Tbh I would love to see a bridal banner which includes finn and lachesis together. Honestly while lachesis and eldigan are weird together, I also always felt bad for lachesis. No in hell will I ever support incest but I always felt like she wanted to see eldigen for comfort, and just didn’t want him to die. She dosen’t have any other family members and in the manga they even talk about her abusive step mother

The AR-D skills aren't exactly "meta" but they ARE very good at a high level after the AR-D building changes a few months back - having 6 defense buildings placeable instead of 5 means that even if the opponent breaks 1 of your meaningful buildings (the decorations don't count) it's still a dual-phase +10 to two stats, and if they break 2 it's dual-phase +7 - effectively Push 4 with no HP threshold or 5 damage drawback. Obviously it's bad on defenses where your buildings are vulnerable, but with the right design it's a terrifying skill to fight against! (+10 to two stats!)

PizzaWithAnchovies “War crimes” how? In all of the chapters the people Sigurd killed were tyrants, like chagal and the evil brothers of chapter 4. Sigurd literally had no option but to take down the nobles of grandvalle, he was accused of murdur and was hunted down, His only options was to kill the nobles (who were pieces of shits anyway). Sigurd literally had no selfish motives, Arvis on the other hand did have selfish motives. While he isn’t full evil like manfroy, He still planned the massacre at velhella despite knowing that Sigurd was innocent, He did that so he could become the emperor. He also married deidre later on despite the fact that he was already married and had a kid named saias. Even though he wasn’t involved in child hunts he still invaded other nations which indirectly caused child hunts and genocide. Even after knowing the identity of Deirdre, he never showed regret for his past actions where he killed her husband. His convo with seliph still shows that he still hated Sigurd and to a lesser extent seliph. Yea sure he opposed child hunts and he did deeply care about julia and deidre but that will never excuse his past atrocities. Don’t get me wrong he definitely succeeded in being a complex villain but the term morally grey simply dosen’t fit him. Thats like saying berkut is morally grey because he showed remorse and became good at the end, no he burned his soon to be wife, even if rinea forgives him, he isn’t morally grey.

For starters, I won't disagree with you that Sigurd had few other options in terms of actions, and most of them were pretty damn shit to say the least. That still doesn't change the fact that he technically just went on somebody else's front lawn and decided to make a mess of things, though. Noble intentions or not, Sigurd went in head first without thinking and invaded another country. Sure, he had his reasons and the people involved were pretty shit--I ain't gonna deny that for a moment, because holy shit the Grannvale nobility is a mess. But as Lewyn states in...Chapter 2, I believe? Sigurd went in guns ablazing, getting himself embroiled in a conflict he seriously had no place in, and he promptly brought war to another land's soil without even thinking twice about it. And while yeah, he had every right to go save Edain, and it would've been shitty if he didn't? He still technically invaded another land in order to save her. That is still a war crime, and further more, it was bait for the trap that got him killed in the first place.
And furthermore, you exonerating Sigurd of his actions gets rid of the interesting parts about him. He's interesting because he's flawed. He's interesting because he's a dumbass who doesn't think first before acting; Sigurd has a good heart, an amazing heart of gold that wants to do right by people, but he's also hotheaded and doesn't think his actions through, much less how they're going to paint him outside of wanting to do what's right in the short term. And if things operated simply in the short term, his actions would be great! But the point of Sigurd is that his short term, noble-hearted actions had long reaching negative repercussions that he didn't foresee.
I'm not gonna say that Arvis did nothing wrong, though, which I'm genuinely not sure how you got that out of what I said; he in fact, did several things wrong. But like. Literally nobody was in the right here, and that's the point of Genealogy's story in the first half. Literally everything snowballed out of control here because of the actions of Verdane (spurred on by the Loptous Sect), and it had a domino effect that embroiled the entirety of Jugdral in the Loptous Sect's schemes. To boil the entirety of Genealogy's narrative down to black and white like this gets rid of everything that makes Genealogy such a wonderful, fleshed out narrative. Everybody did something a little wrong here, friend, and that's what makes it great.
And furthermore, Arvis wasn't actually married to Aida. Fucked around with her, sure, but they weren't actually married. I'm pretty sure that would've put Aida in more danger than she already was in. Arvis has absolutely done a great many things wrong in an attempt to try and bring his own vision of the world into reality, as you said, but that doesn't make Sigurd any less wrong for his own actions here.
...Seriously I'm gonna be honest here tho, I genuinely have no clue how you thought I was trying to excuse Arvis here? Like. Friend. Buddy. You could've asked before jumping to conclusions. Just because I make fun of one person (with love, I should add) doesn't mean I excuse the actions of the other. I will apologize, at least, if I didn't make that clear. I genuinely thought you were one of those people who watched that one Linkking7 video (which btw is pretty biased towards arvis and litterally avoids many plot holes) and now considers Arvis "morally grey" but thankfully i'm wrong. I definitely agree with most of your points about Sigurd and Arvis and you did a beautiful job at illustrating that. Let me make this clear, I don't hate Arvis as a character or a villain, I think he's very complex and even has some sweet character growth in gen 2, but once again calling him "morally grey" is basically like saying the deaths of Sigurd, deidre and countless others don't matter. When I argued this with another guy, He literally said I don't respect kaga and fe 4 because I don't find Arvis "morally grey" which is the most retarded shit, I've ever heard. As for Sigurd, yea He did technically invade other countries and kill technically kill people, but all of them are scumbags, and in the case of Silese, He basically saved the queen and the people from tyrants, despite the fact that he gains nothing from it and is actually slowing his progress to grandvale. Even if Sigurd has blood on his hands, you have to keep in mind the fact that he has no control over his life, due the allegations against him and his father. which is the direct opposite for Arvis who had full control over his actions in gen 1, but unlike He was selfish and was fine with killing innocents in order to reach his goal

I agree with both of you guys, and I guess you could say that Sigurd kinda behaves exactly like Chrom. If we take into account that Chrom is probably Sigurds descendant, I guess we can see who probably got all the braincells. And Sigurd is kinda hot. His good looks run through the family. She was so traumatized, it broke her. So Arvis killed a good person who was trying to and would have helped him, just because he wanted Deirdre. And my baby boy Seliph never got to know his parents! Even if you count in that Arvis was controlled by the Loptyr sect, nothing he did was okay. And then his kid got posessed, because he banged his half-sister and in the end, everything he achieved was destroyed because of his own stupid actions. Kinda sad how much he shot himself in the foot. But I still hate him for taking Seliphs parents away! My poor baby. I still want that Remake. Do you think it will need an M-Rating, because of all the non childfriendly elements in the story?

Arvis might not be as bad as manfroy, who screams “I’m bad guy” but he is still a scumbag none the less. You can’t call a guy who caused massacres, genocide, married to multiple girls, and someone who literally killed a dude while taking their wife away, “morally grey”. that must be the most painful shit you can ever feel and Sigurd felt that. Arvis was in full control of his actions in gen 1, so don’t make bs excuses like “oh he’s possesed or that he had a tough life, these things don’t excuse his actions.Thats why I’m scared of a remake, I don’t want to see my boi Sigurd getting cucced and killed like that in 3d with voice acting, Plus incest in 2020 would not be well received. Thats why I think it would be better to leave the main focus on deidre, and let arvis marry someone else who has the naga blood. Let deidre die along with sigurd in belhella massacre, this would leave out some tension and would make the story less impactful but overwal it would be better for the game.
Im impressed by Lachesis new art, she looks more mature, but not full grown yet, and that's the sweetspot, Lachesis is an young teenager, and this shows her with the right appearance.

I am so happy for FE4 fans that they are getting a full seasonal banner AND Sigurd finally has an alt. Also he just broke the dancer meta being the 1st cavalry dancer (love that you guys didn’t notice that lol)

Ethlyn just does what Duo-Byleth does but physical! she is really good! Air Orders in 4 stars is so amazing for Flyerballs! even as a dancer I just cant bare with eldigan being another flying lancer... I really want Ethlyn but I might just skip the banner or pull for some Air orders I need 2 of em!

Ethlyn and Quan looks amazing, that's probably why they're the best FE4 couple....such a shame Finn it's not the free unit but Eldigan it's ok i guess (just hope he's better than the last year free dancer :P).

Gabriel-GPVS- I feel you man, Finn isn’t just a knight in fire emblem, He is the KNIGHT of fire emblem. You could literally make a mini story out of Finn’s journey, and while the dude isn’t broken as someone like Sigurd he still kicks ass in both fe 4 and fe5. He and lachesis are also really cute together, and no beowulf dosen’t exist, he is a myth.
Eldigan’s lance has the same effect as Quan’s bow so it seems pretty solid!

I liked the Sigurd alt until I realized Duo Unit BST will make him annoying in high arena tiers despite that ranged units, cavalry, and dancers take BST hits. I really want Ethlyn and am excited to see how Eldigan looks.

Jo Met Master knight alt would be sick, as for an artist I’m not sure, just anyone that would make her art resemble the one in the actual game where she looks mature and pretty. I can understand someone like patty having her art look like this, but Lachesis is literally a mother, So I don’t know why heroes makes her look like 12. Oh well can’t complain at least we are finally getting some love for jugdral games, I really hope this is an indication that we might get a potential remake just like echoes, that would be sick. I think you guys missed two things but 1. Cav dancer so Reyson and Leanne are no longer the only 3 move dancers 2. Sigurd/Deidre's stats were shown 3. Did I mention that there's a DUO CAV DANCER?
Oh btw, windsweep does work just they still have to meet the speed check and if their foe has anything like Wary Fighter, an Impact, etc. the semi null follow up effect won't help because then there'll be two+ effects preventing your follow-up... follow-ups are weird man

No, AR-D skills are definitely seen in the higher tiers, because getting up to +10 to two of your stats is just insane, and I can easily see AR-D Atk/Spd being used on some stupid Close Call/Repel/Spurn tank just to stall you out and make you waste your turns because you can barely do any damage to them due to the absurd speed difference.
On a non-AR build, yeah, get rid of it. But if climbing up the ranks, expect to see it on some defense teams.
Also, Ethlyn's weapon should negate Windsweep's "no follow-up attack" part. That's how Byleth works with the Creator Sword/Windsweep interaction, so this should be the exact same way.
Literally everyone forgot about Brigid, that makes me sad. I need Ethlyn and Quan for my agenda but I’m broke... The weapons on this banner are really good and I really love the art. Windsweep should combo with Ethlyn’s weapon. Lachesis being the 4* is really nice though. Eldigan looks like he’s in a fur coat and I might want to to build him if he does.
My opinions of the banner
-Easy skip, so i can still fight with Corrin in peace
-That Grail looks more like an olimpic torch
-To me Quan now looks attractive
-I Will take My eldegant (of who i am now learning his name, but we will fix that with time), super convinient since i was short of a Dancer and a lance
-Because of quashing My efforts to get F!M Corrin, Perceval Will be sacrificed to Eldegant (sorry if i bucher his name) If Surtr and Fallen Berkut wasnt spared for doing the same in the pirate banner (Hinata and Xander appreciate their sacrifice) he Will not :)
-Good luck to everyone summoning

He has a 14 might inheritable lance similar to Lachesis but focuses on Atk and Def
He is a Dancer and has the Atk/Def dance B skill

I would like to point out that the Courtly Fan/Windsweep combo does work the way you want it to, because she’s shown doubling in the trailer (and it’s basically the Byleth’s combo also).
I cannot believe I'm about to say this, considering Dimitri is one of my favorite characters, but man is this banner making me feel bad for spending my orbs.

To answer the question, yes, ar defense a slots are far better than offense. Atk spd might be the best of the bunch now. They're used in cav lines for example (if you didn't watch akariss at some point, cav line is exactly what it says. A line of ranged cavs with a line of buildings behind them and usually a panic manor or a tactics room in a key position. Meta slaying team but kinda situational if you ask me.
You may have enough dancers, but you never have enough eldigans!
I just got through doing the last 2 sparks on CYL so I probably shouldn't go in for this banner, but the new daggers are just too hard to pass up. I'm definitely gonna be building Eldigan as well. I really don't need another new project right now, let alone another lance flier, but I love him too much I can't pass him up

I really like these characters too but I feel like I'm at the point where I really don't need anymore dancers. Maybe if one of my absolute favorites got a dancing alt I'd go for it, but honestly as great as these units look I'm gonna skip.
I might consider summoning on this banner because of the dancer cav Sigurd and Deirdre. Having a cav dancer might prove to be useful and annoying to go against.

For a duo skill on a cav dancer it seems good but balanced
@@raindrops6435 it's just kinda underwhelming, because if your trying to save your unit and there's somebody already occupying that space it doesn't reposition them, they stay there. Pretty bad in my opinion. >_

@@arman_llc624 true. mostly becouse it doesen't have offical english localication and some mecanics are too confusing for those of people who play the game fully blind
Myster Gamer I understand your pain, but I would still recommend that you play with a translation patch. As for the mechanics, yea you’re right they can be confusing and seem weird for first timers and you might get frustrated because of them, but trust me I had the same doubts as you, but after playing through the whole game I’m honestly hooked. Pairing up units, doing inheritance for gen 2 units to pass them skills, growths, and weapons is just so much fun and gives the game so much replay ability. I feel like people definitely give up on the game around the first two chapters and trust me they are the worst ones, the game definitely opens up so much after that, with chapter 4 being one of my favourite chapters in all of fe. You should avoid story spoilers and go in semi blind but I definitely recommend that your learn the mechanics first, like inheritance, love points, item management through pawnshop, arena, holy blood etc.
