Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is the Stand of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Part 7 Steel Ball Run. SBR is the first Jojo Part within a different universe, compared to Parts 1 through 6.
Funny Valentine, the 23rd President of the United States, gained the powers of D4C when he was in the desert with his fellow army troops, entered the Devil's Palm, and collapsed, finding the Saint's Corpse heart and receiving the Stand.
D4C is a Stand that utilizes the power of Space and Time to work it's magic. It's main power is the Dimensional Travel technique which allows Funny Valentine to travel to a - proposed - infinite number of parallel worlds. Funny uses this to survive, as he can transfer D4C over to his parallel selves, and they will then return to the main world and continue his mission.
President Funny Valentine's goal is to acquire all pieces of the Saint's Corpse for the sake of America, and it is Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli's goal to stop him. Once he gains all the pieces of the Saint's Corpse, Valentine's Stand receives a granted ability from the Saint's Corpse inhabiting Lucy Steel. This gives D4C the power of Love Train.
Love Train is an ability which grants Funny Valentine the use of a pocket dimension, which is a small gap in space which Funny and D4C can hide within. This keeps them both safe from all harm, and grants Valentine the ability to manipulate the area around him. Whilst it may be an unconscious power, bringing all things in around him ends up working in his favour, as even the Atlantic Ocean moves towards Lucy Steel which disadvantages Gyro and Johnny.
Even though no one really reads these descriptions, I just want to point out anyway that there is a lot of speculation involved in these videos, as Araki leaves many things open to interpretation. Many things don't get a full explanation, so it's down to RUclipsrs like myself to try to explain it for you as best as I can. However that doesn't mean I get everything 100% correct. I will sometimes make mistakes, so please keep this in mind whilst watching and leave your criticism at the door. Constructive criticism is appreciate though.

Menger sponges essentially have a surface area of infinity but a volume of zero. You could say it's a metaphor for funny valentine and his stand. There's an infinite number of valentines, but only one D4C.

Chariot Requiem was basically a ball of light that every living being had behind them. that light, shining against your back, made the shadow that was defending the arrow. if there were no living beings around, aka nothing to go after arrow, the shadow would have no purpose and not exist. there is only one ball of light but it was behind everyone’s head at the same time. destroying it destroyed the shadow, and the shadow was what caused the body switching/ things to grow out of you

For anyone wondering, a Menge Sponge is a 3-dimensional object that has infinite surface area, but no volume.
It is conatructed from a cube with a hollow center that is 1/3 the dimensions of the larger cube. Then, you divide each side into a 3x3 grid, and remove the center so that it goes into the hollow core. This is the first generation. For each generation, you copy this setup into the remaining cubes, which are now 1/3 the dimensions of the previous generation and number 20 times as many as the previous generation.
The completed Menge Sponge occurs after infinite generations.

Because of quite a few aspects that come together to slap you with confusion. But unlike D4C, you have to get the explanation through context clues for KC, as even Diavolo’s explanation is kinda shit. But without getting too into it, the time erase actually erases only Diavolo’s fate, but not his actions, and everyone else sleepwalks through their fate.

A theory on D4C’s dimension travel; Funny Valentine can only travel to Parallel Universes that are only from the base world.
As we’ve seen, he’s only traveled from different worlds that are the same as the base world to drag different alternate characters like Soundman and The World Diego who are from the same timeline, but different universe.
So theoretically, if Funny Valentine was displaced in time and set in a much different base world, he’d only be able to travel between that world’s parallel universes
Soundman and Sandman are the same person, not people from other dimensions

Yes, the universe was the same but the timeline changed or got reset.
They are a separate story and a separate universe which means a multiverse. Pucci's reset did not create Part 7.

Best antagonist with the coolest stand
So, I feel like the whole D4C arc was Araki's first idea of D4C's set of abilities, but were later changed either for story reasons. If we take Valentine's explanation of his ability at face value, and that he can combine two dimensions at the same time, so that certain versions of people between the two dimensions could exist at the same time at the same world, in addition to dimensional travel, then that would be OP!
Also, side note: at first I thought that panel wherein Valentine's face disappeared when he was attacked with Ball Breaker was just Left Side Ataxia, because his left eye disappeared too, although it being an ability of the stand made snese if you look what parts of Valentine's face disappeared on later panels. (Now they actually made sense to me, thanks for that! 😂)
What I noticed about thinking all these things is that they all appeared during the same battle: both combining two dimensions and avoiding attacks by dimensional teleporting parts of his body... I feel like if these issues happened all during the same arc, then that means that his idea at the time changed on consequent fights, and D4C became much more concise as an ability... If that is so, then that is really interesting... I wonder what made Araki to change the idea of the stand...
Anyway, that's all my thoughts about D4C... I love this stand so much; its concept is so unique and interesting... Thanks for the great video and making me think, understand, and clarify some stuff about this stand! Looking forward to your future videos...

See when people generally talk about D4C changing they are referring to the following dilemma:
1) His ability DID change which would make someone question why that even happened or whether you could somehow explain who shot Johnny Joestar by using the ability as it is seen later
We aren't exactly given precise information on how the coexistence of parallel reality even works or how that functions within his dimensional hop abilities, or root world conditions, etc
Hamon Beat tried to use his ability as it is seen later to explain Who Shot Johnny Joestar but imo failed as there are a lot of finer details that contradict his explanation
2) That the 2 abilities do in fact coexist
If that's true then why didn't Valentine bring back his ability of coexistence of parallel realities like we saw initially?
That's an extremely broken ability
People (including me) have come up with explanations but those involve some level of headcanon and so aren't valid

I love style. I love the stylishness in games like Persona 5 etc. For D4C and Funny Valentine, i love how it's effect is activated. I mean, putting yourself between a flag or door and going into another world is soo stylish and awesome. Furthermore, i love the Design and of course the refference. D4C is one of my favorite Ac/Dc songs and Rock songs in general. Funny Valentine was one hell of an antagonist. I would call him, my favorite and best antagonist of all time. I love him and Steel Ball Run in general. Araki created a masterpiece

Aha I knew it was gonna be a harder to understand Stand. Yet another great video about one of the weirdest looking stands:)
Fun fact: funny falentime can just do this get a little part of a corpse and remove his heart then give the heart to the other valentime he now have two d4c :3.
There can only be one Funny Valentine who functions as the base one (where the corpse exists and can attach itself to). So no, he can bring in clones of himself though.

You definitely need a lot more subscribers. You have a really good production quality and make great analysis on these Stands to help cover what they could do and some interesting scenarios on the final thoughts (always wondered if Made in Heaven had enough Gravity Manipulation to break through Love Train. Personally I don't think so but you never know.)

I actually like to think that he is the exception to the rule, all other villains have time abilities while he has a space ability, granted; space and time are interweaved so obviously if you control one you control the other but the other villains have more time centric abilities where as valentine's ability is space centric like Johnny's, which makes valentine and johnny the cool space-based counterparts to DIO and Jotaro in a sense

I like the idea that D4C is almost puppeting Valentine, since the stand is the unique entity versus the infinite variants of Valentine. And the fact that all the variants have a shared will and share one stand makes it feel like D4C is the true master and has infinite flesh puppets at its disposal

Some people twig onto ideas and Stand concepts quicker than others. Nothing wrong with that. I got the majority of D4C's abilities when I first read it too, but when it came down to writing a script, I did find it a bit difficult to put into words.
