Pro tip: apply the talcum powder with a huge powder brush you'd usually use for makeup! Makes for an even coat, without having issues with applying too much.
Thank you so much for this video! Not for a cosplay, but I have a jacket that I really would like to try this with. I've been feeling terrible that the jacket is essentially ruined due to the faux-leather being terribly ripped up. Just a question though; after applying this product, can you still put the clothing in a washing machine?
Can't believe I threw ruined pleather out thinking it couldn't be fixed, never again

Great technique! Worth keeping in mind.
Looks great! Could you preventatively do this before it starts ripping?
Yes you can for sure!
I just bought a Bayonetta Cosplay and this was my Nightmare szenario. Thanks for the vid, if any damage occurs now I know how to fix it! :)

Well I think that might be your problem to begin with. I find putting faux in the washer ruins it a lot faster. By the way, did it work? :)
I’d love to know how this turned out after wearing it again! Did it make the faux leather stiff at all?
I asked him and he said it was fine. Since it's pretty flexible paint it shouldn't be stiff -Skyshark
How would I reshape my leather cosplay my chest piece came in the mail and is badly warped and misshaped I need to reshape it how can I???
