Thank you so much for this tutorial. I would have never thought of the cooling/heating issues. It still looks like a lot of work and getting a nice shape to the muscles has to be tricky.
I want to use this for crossplay in hopes of making something credible looking.

Any tracing templates for the foam? I'm a female irl, but theres 2 or 3 costumes I've wanted to do that are male with muscle (not Thanos big, but just a regular male figure). I have no idea of the shapes to draw on to make them look like "realistic" muscles

im currently making a nemesis cosplay. just wondering if i can wear my body suit as i have the muscles glued on or if i should invest in a torso to build on.
I love this video I am making an Amazing Hulk costume for Halloween. I have various thicknesses of foam and a spandex suit to glue them on then another body suit which is green and shaded with muscles. Do you have a template Or any other suggestions) for the shapes of the muscles. Ive taken screenshots of your video to try to make them but it is not great Thanks

Yes adding padding on the other places so it evens out! Same with drag, only it's the opposite.

I’m planning to make a muscle suit for a project and I’m unsure of wether to use a mannequin or a duct tape dummy. I have an opportunity to get a cheap ($30) full size male mannequin but it is modeled after a 5’11’’ male, while I myself am 5’5’’. Should I still get the mannequin for this application?
It’s probably too late for your project, but for someone in the future, I’d recommend making your inner suit first, then stuff it with something to give it bulk. Now you have a flexible mannequin 😅

Is it safe to apply contact glue while you’re wearing it? :o
Whenever we applied glue we made sure to wear fabric or plastic underneath the layers to avoid contact with our skin. We suggest you do that as well.

say i want to do a kratos cosplay, i cant have the foam showing because he is bare naked under the armor, what do i do
I have seen many people to cover it with latex mixed with paint, especially for monsters. Could look weird for natural skin colors ofc, but for Kratos it might work since his skin is ashen

Anyways, cool suit, love the integrated pockets and detachable sleeves. Those PCM packs are pretty awesome.
Unless I'm missing something, I kinda don't see the point if we're not going to see it in context under a suit at the end. It's a bit like showing a can of hairspray, without showing the effect it has on hair. Well made video though.
7:17 could you also use hot glue ?
Would not recommend hot glue since that won't be flexible enough and probably won't hold!

Hey brother. I'm from India . I desperately need your help.. Kind of a rescue.. Im soon going to get married.. And I'm very skinny.. I weigh 47 kgs.. I never looked good in any outfits.. At times it gets embarrassing.. People body shame me.. And make jokes.. I tried everything to gain weight but my metabolism doesn't let me go off too far.. Since I'm getting married.. I'll be wearing all those traditional outfits and i really believe your idea of muscle suits will save the day for me.. Please if you can help me anyhow.. Like the templates or a ready suit or anything so that i won't be a topic for the guests to gossip that what was wrong with the girl that she had to settle with a guy so skinny.
