Very good job of simplifying it for others... Only thing is you have no support in your column. You have rebar in base of column but no rebar going up for support of the column. From an old concrete guy you,.. Rebar is what gives the concrete support from breaking.. If you put pressure on the column it will snap like a twig after a certain point... with rebar it will support it even thought it will crack and not break and fall apart... Keep up the good work... Have you tried filling PVC tubes with concrete to use them to make a bench? (A steel rod inside) Regards from Ibz

Fill the pipe with sand and heat it slowly with heat gun...
