I have the ME80 and I really like it and run it through the loop on a Marshall stack and utilizing the dual output sending the second output into the front of an Orange Terror head with a 4x12 Orange cabinet. Sounds good with stereo out.
Immer alles Top, Herr Bonedo kann alles. Aber Engländer würden nie Vorstellungen auf deutsch machen. DR. Boss hat wenigstens die Geräte auf deutsch vorgestellt.
I can't get any useable drive/preamp/cab tones from this ME90. They all sound thin, harsh, brittle, woofy, muddy, unbalanced, unresponsive.. etc. But the effects are GREAT! And I like the form factor and all the other features so I keep it for now.
Having had two pedal boards ripped off at gigs over the last year and a half I decided to go ahead and buy one of these all in one unit of which I have never been a fan of. I'm kind of on the fence with this one. I've heard some really fantastic demos of the me 90 When I Come Away with a feeling that the High gain and the Distortion sounds are crap. But all the time based sounds, the reverb, the chorus And Delay are top-notch which I have come to expect from boss. I still have my vertex Mark 1 ultraphonic my J rocket archer, and a plethora of overdrive / Distortion boxes so I'm covered there and then some. What I'm really hoping for is that the delay and the Reverb and the octave sounds, I'm really hoping that I'll be able to get that dreamy is ethereal kind of ambient tone that many of us are going for. My fingers are really crossed because if those aren't happening it's going back in the box and back to Sweetwater. Sweetwater is great by the way if you're unhappy with a piece of gear that you've purchased from them for whatever the reason might be. They're more than happy to issue you an RA number and take it back either for an exchange to an upgrade or just a full on refund. Like I said my fingers are crossed and after having about $2,000 worth of effects ripped off I simply can't afford to replace them all, unfortunately. So I'm really hoping and hoping and wishing that boss will come through for me with the m e 90! And to those scumbags out there that would rip off a working man's tools of his trade, they don't get much lower than that in my opinion unless it's a violent crime such as murder Etc. I don't ask this often but please wish me luck!🙏🎸💯🧡🎸
We already know even without watching this that its sound wasn't and wouldn't be the best. It is a huge improvement over last generation nonetheless and the preamp is bypassable this time. Those who wouldn't buy this never will, and those who find it useful swears by it. I am the latter camp.

the ctl pedal on this changes the sound on the presets aswell.

Hi, friend.
How the Guitar in the background was processed. 10:26
Pedal. Processor Plugin?
If you get a good one they're awesome.
I am wondering if a more comprehensive EQ such as the Boss EQ200 in the loop would tidy up those undesirable frequencies.
woww..nice sound!..
what do you think..
2× blackstar debut 50r ( stereo) + the boss me 90?
for small/ medium gigs?

Can you compare it to the boss GT 1000.....like what are the fundamental differences between them?
Pedal FX after Preamp? Why?
Boss me 90 or valeton gp 200 which one is better for live gigs ???
You should use ME90 so much that you don't even have to think about it.
How long can you ride yesterdays horses?

It is not a solid metal housing. The back is plastic.
I really want to love these all-in-one units, but the sound quality disappoints every time.
that's the issue i'm having with it. plugged into interface sounds like dogwater
High Gain sounds horrible...as always with boss and roland products. Like a broken chainsaw. But clean parts and effects are good.
all high gain sounds terrible
@@ragnadrabinowitz7629 depends on the music you wanna play😉
Not impressed with this. I just have lost that loving for Roland stuff.
You have the unit? I do and it is impressive, it’s capabilities far outweigh any minor limitations.
