9:35 The track is 4/4 100bpm. The main theme at the drop consists of 5 stabs at (1.1.0, 1.2.0, 1.2.3, 1.3.3, 1.4.0). The last 4 of these stabs are pulled forward a few miliseconds, which makes you think THEY are the main rhythm when they are really offgrid. So by the time the first stab (ongrid) hits again you are suprised because your brain is still stuck in the rhythm of the four offgrid stabs from the previous bar.

Not entirely sure what the time signature is for fatal if inhaled but once you catch onto the rhyth its so fire oml. Like, at first I just didn't understand it, and then I just kinda viewd the drop as being a slower version of riddim. Idk how to describe it but I would also like to know the time signature LMAOOOOO.

its 4/4 just super off beat. when it becomes more on grid in the b section of the drop it becomes easier to tell

@@iNubble yeah absolutely. in this case despite the off beats being accented in the main rhythm you still have the kick and clap on the 1 and 3 making it a little easier to figure out. one great example of another similar thing is jorei - extravangant dress. in some phrases the clap gets shifted over giving this weird feeling where you lose where the pulse is for a brief moment.
