    The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

    Thanks for the great full spectrum review!!! I had just purchased and wasn't sure about some of the features --- and you confirmed that the pitcher blades aren't meant to separate from the pitcher itself (I was trying to do so but it wasn't working...I'm okay now).

    Maybe not the best blender in the world but I'm super happy with mine especially since I got it on sale for under $100. My handled personal cup leaks slightly while blending and it doesn't seem quite as well built as the non-handled one. All in all, I'm quite impressed. I use it for daily personal smoothies. This blender system really makes Vitamix and Blendtec seem way overpriced.

    Although you say it uses a 60second timer for extracting and has a set speed it uses for initial vs second round extraction.
    I think there is a little more to it.
    Based on my experience with this, it seems to detect resistance of the blades on the motor and it varies stopping and starting delays as well as how many times it does it , speeds vary by blend and container and seems to do medium at first and then hits it with high a few times.
    This blender though is by far the best I've owned. Vitamix and ninja had nothing on this and this is way easier to clean than a ninja.
    Also, you stated you can't make soups, this is also not true. I've made blends of cold cream cheese and had it come out hot and steaming when I was done.
    They may state this as more of a disclaimer because they prefer to have longevity of their machine over uses which can reduce blade or motor life.
    But ice is also fine. But since the blades are not removable for whatever reason, this is why they state these things. Not because it can't... More so because it would diminish the overall life of the unit.

      Thanks for the feedback. I am not sure I would agree that is matches the performance of a Vitamix especially for tough blending tasks but the Combo is great for smoothies and equivalent tasks. The blending program is just a pattern of on/off/speed changes.

      Hi there, so at first I got the 900 but the cup would get stuck onto the motor portion of the bullet. That eventually frustrated me so I bought the Nutribullet blender (purchased at Costco) and honestly I’m disappointed with the motor. I wouldn’t purchase this blender again. Just blending batter for pancakes makes it sound like the motor is going to give out. Maybe I got a lemon but honestly I’m done with the Nutribullet brand.

    • @jamesedge6847
      @jamesedge6847 3 года назад +3

      I bought a Nutribullet Combo for $80 on sale and it was great for 3 months, then it went up in smoke and died while making a strawberry banana smoothie. I called customer service for a warranty claim and they told me that making a smoothie for breakfast every day was considered heavy use and caused premature failure of the motor bearings. They agreed to replace it even though I used it “heavily” but said it would take 6-8 weeks to get a replacement. I ended up returning it and buying a Vitamix. I wasn’t thrilled about how expensive it was but it seems to be better quality so far.

    • @aniv5833
      @aniv5833 3 года назад +2

      @@jamesedge6847 As expected! And if making smoothies everyday is considered as heavy use, then how the heck is this blender useful? Why does it even exist??
      Vitamix is a good choice, but, are they super durable and long lasting? Maybe! Because, they actually don't use all metal drive systems unlike their claims. The drive sockets on those motor bases are made of rubber plastic combo, with a metal ring glued inside. It fakes being 100% metal. Now that's lying to customers on their faces.
      The only blenders that use a 100% all metal drive systems are Blendtec's, Breville's, Omega's, Onmi Blenders. Believe me, those Blendtec's, under normal use as suggested, keep going on and on and on! I have seen some which lasted more than 10-15 years and their blend counters went totally blank. Yet, they keep going like real Champs!! And yes, I own 3 Blendtec's and one Vitamix A3500, and I truly believe, Blendtec is the king of durable reliable blenders!!

    Hi, can you use it as a food processor?

    • @blenderauthority2561
      @blenderauthority2561  4 года назад +2

      It is isn't ideal because blender blades are designed to pull ingredients down the middle and puree whereas a food processor has a wide container with a flat blade to push ingredient out and around. A blender will work OK for some ingredients for chopping and dicing by pulsing the blender but not as evenly as a food processor would do.

      Hello Adeline, I've looked at Blendworks but haven't reviewed it yet. It is a "Made to sell on Amazon only" brand so its not sold by any large retailers which always makes be cautious as I don't know how well the reliability or manufacturing safety standards are. I prefer name brand blenders that I know have all the safety certification for products(won't catch on fire or Jars won't shatter from the high speeds). The only non-store brand blender so far that I have reviewed that I liked was the Cleanblend blender.

      Hello. Both companies cater to the same mass market. I wouldn't say ones is far better. I've owned and tested both. For personal blenders I like the blade design and blending results of the Nutribullet better than the Ninja.
      For fullsize blenders obviously Ninja has more choices but the new Nutribullet combo is decent and performed well. One issue I have with Ninja is they are constantly introducing and discontinuing models chasing the latest "Hot thing" which makes it difficult to ever get replacement accessories if you own prior models. Whereas Nutribullet mostly sticks to same designs (Can still buy replacements accessories for old Nutribullet blenders) and focuses on ease of use.
      I am glad you found a blender that you like.

    • @tontetari
      @tontetari 4 года назад +1

      The Ninja cannot touch the blending power of the Nutri bullet. Take it from me I have both. I first bought the ninja and later had the buy the Nutribullet because the Ninja couldn’t blend my veggy smoothies without leaving it gritty and lumpy. I just upgraded to the Nutribullet combo and throwing out that Ninja.
