Have you ever gone on a quest to find someone who inspired you? 🌟 I embarked on a mission to track down Will, the mastermind behind the twinzer surfboard design. 🏄‍♂️ I was determined to collaborate with him and even offered to pay him a royalty because his work was truly unique and groundbreaking. 💯
I vividly remember receiving a quad board from Manny Caro, who was also a fan of Will's twinzers. 🤙 My French buddies helped me give it a fancy glassing treatment, and I couldn't help but admire the aesthetic of Will's creations. He may be underground, but his talent speaks volumes. 🌊
In my pursuit of connecting with Will, I discovered another twinzer enthusiast, Stu Kenson. 🌟 I reached out to Stu, hoping he could guide me in getting in touch with Jobson, the elusive genius behind the twinzer revolution. 🤔 I was eager to collaborate and create something extraordinary, but I faced numerous obstacles along the way. 🚧
I didn't want to embark on this journey alone, as I felt the weight of the spotlight on me. I didn't want to be seen as a mere copycat or imitator. 🙅‍♂️ So, unfortunately, my enthusiasm gradually faded away, and I put my twinzer dreams on hold. ⏸️
But the twinzer revolution lives on, and I hope that one day, someone will pick up where I left off and bring this incredible design to new heights. 🌅 Until then, I'll continue to appreciate the artistry of underground shapers like Will and Stu, who continue to push the boundaries of surfboard innovation. 🌊✨
