another one to try is cork board and then go over it with a technical to make it look more like a rock/clump of earth. can even do the dry brushing with some grass and what not over it to pull it all together
And then you just glue the fellas down with plastic glue? I want to try something fancy with this next set of Tzeentch horrors but pinning all of them would be a pain
Thank you very much. Just today a mate who is new to all this just asked me how to do bases.
Winters is the Hobby Champion! Thank you sir!
Love these tutorials :)
Fabulous tutorials! Ace of base!
A very based view on basing, thanks Winters!
Thanks for all your hard work Winters!
Lovely video. For the flaking, when I want to keep the color, I paint over with thinned down PVA glue.
Great vid mate! Got techniques i hadn’t thought about! Thanks 😊
Excellent!! Great tutorial
It's all about that base.
No tribbles.
The buttery biscuit base?

This is up there with Artis Opus drybrushing videos. Tnx Winters!
Great video
Yes, Winter! Show us the way of the Warhammer!
Gaming supplemental : Hobby 101 with Winters - got my vote, I liked this, and easy-peasy desert bases is just what I'm looking for.
Cheers
Any color recommendations to put on stirland mud to get a real muddy effect? Thinking marshy mud with marsh grass tufts
Never tried. I would experiment a bit
incredibly based
GIVE 'EM THE OLD RAZZLE DAZZLE, Mr Winters
It's just like watching Bob Ross. 👌😆
Nice

plastic glue only sticks bare plastic to bare plastic, super glue works just fine
