If I might suggest, here in the U.S. the oyster harvesters often have to traverse stretches of mud, sometimes deep. They have what are called "mud Shoes". They look somewhat like snow shoes, and distribute the persons weight over a larger area to prevent sinking in. They were, if I can remember right, ( Its only been 55+ years since I last saw them ) basically a wooden plate with aluminum tubing coming out around the wood. They were held on one's boots with straps. Have you tried submerging the bottles in vinegar or another acidic liquid to dissolve the barnacles? It can save a lot of scrubbing and scraping. Their shells are calcium, and vinegar should dissolve or at least really weaken it, making it easy to remove.
You 3 have been sorely missed....Sorry for your loss. Boris, please quit rolling in things....We do love to see your smart coats. Robin, be very careful out in the muck. So glad to have you all back in a new video!
So happy you all are back, you were truly missed. So sorry to hear of the loss of your step dad 😢! You did have some lovely finds! The bottles are fantastic, but so love the clay jar, they are always wonderful to find. Ah, and Boris, he got his own find and seemed happy with it. Such a happy little rascal 🐾 ! Take care. Hope to see y'all again soon! Scratchies to Boris! xx ~Jen
Great video, so sorry for your loss. My mom and dad both passed away 10 years ago. My mom on Mother's Day, and my dad on Father's Day. I feel them around me all the time.
Boris, is fine.... He is our number one responsibility. Also he is quite sensible! he sometimes refuses to come of the shoreline. hope that reassures you :)
Great video as always. One day you shall have to let Boris do a round up of his finds. He is just adorable.
