- attempting to reupholster a 6420 John Deere ... the way the cab is made makes it impossible!

There's not any manufacturer that builds anything meant to be worked on. At least by the diy guy. I feel your pain.

Seeing this 6420 reminded me a little of your 7200R you had, that was the coolest looking tractor you had in my opinion…. How’s your Dad been? I’m happy to hear he’s still around helping!

Quality control is poor in a lot of industries out there today.

Where did the interior parts come from like headliner
From John deere ... we sent it back 3 times, and all 3 were fails ...so we finally ordered a fehr and it fit great
