Baffling! How can the loss of the use of hand or leg be better than before? It is wretched, and only hard work an effect improvements. Betger than before? No way.
Not sure if you had a chance to listen to the entire interview or not, but the message from Karla is that she focuses on what she gained after her stroke not what she lost. She has accepted what she lost but continues to look for what is good about the fact that she is still around.
