The point of show was to get Cesar out of the gang. And they failed.
KING CHARLES kinda, but you could look at that one of 2 ways. One, you can’t help someone who doesn’t want to be saved. Countless times ceasar has found his way back to a gun and back to the street after countless efforts to save him. Im not saying that he’s innately bad or even wrong for this, and some would even blame his conditioning. However, he still had a father living in anither town that could’ve been better for him. Or two, it could pose a question about destiny or the never ending cycle that the streets flow in.

I have a feeling that they ended season three the way that they did because Netflix becomes trigger happy after the third season of any show.

Diego Solorio Webster defines it as “eager to point out the mistakes or shortcomings of others or ready to fire a gun at the least provocation, regardless of the situation or probable consequences”.
This was my fancy way of saying that they tend to cancel or abandon a show after its third season. The show has to show stellar rating and fan following for them to make it to the 4th season. They haven’t officially confirmed the 4th season yet (ignore anyone that says otherwise because the 3rd season hasn’t been out for a week and ratings are still coming in). It’s too soon to tell if it will be yet. Give it a month or two.
Tooxi no they haven’t or at least it’s not set in stone yet. Netflix can change their mind, theyve done it before. The shows co-creator signed a multi year deal with Netflix but it doesn’t mean that OMB is confirmed for another season. It’s too soon to get the full ratings to tell.

3 theories that I have
1. The ending was a dream, especially whenever Oscar and Jessica said it could be a key part of S4. This could probably become a dream bcuz they all ended up like something they didn’t want to be Caesar didn’t want to be part of the Santos, Monse didn’t want to be like her mother, Jamal didn’t like football and Ruby always wanted to be close to Jamal.
2. Caesar’s dad is actually little Ricky and that’s why he left for Bakersfield because he new that one lady wanted them to find him
3. Monse’s dad is a prophet and delivers for them, that’s why he didn’t want Caesar there at his house.

The third one I think is true because in one episode Monse did mention in front of her dad that he was a prophet

I believe Lil Ricky is actually Cesar and Oscars dad. Remember the Santos turned on him. But who convinced them? Cuchillos did. She found out about Ricky and Rośe. She also said she owned Oscar and Oscar somehow was the head of the Santos soon after his dad disappeared and was the only person who was able to get ahold of Cuchillos. Cuchillos was probably pregnant with Cesar when Ricky started his infidelity and in order for Rośe to stay quiet about it he paid her and started her career off. If you also noticed their dad when talking to them and when Oscar was pushing him off of him after a hug, he did not push back, but instead walked away and understood. He also did not push the relationship with them, but was there for them until he noticed that he was more of a bother and left again.
