Wow, so much hate in these comments. Yeah, if you sign up you might have some of the same edits as other DJ's, but you're probably all playing Rich Baby Daddy and Not Like Us like every other DJ at the moment so chill out. And obviously this is a promo by Crossfader, but again, who cares. If you don't want to sign up, don't sign up. Some of you guys are worse than vinyl DJ's complaining about new technology while they DJ in their bedrooms to nobody.
Hey just a short question since you`ve been using this dj pool a few years now. I tried it also and the music what I found was super cool! But unfortunately after downloading and importing the music to rekordbox I recognized that no information about the genre or any other additonal information has been added to the single song. How you`re dealing with this issue? Is there any hack, because otherwise music management becomes a huge effort without any information except the song name. I would appreciate some feedback! Many thanks!
As a huge part of being a DJ is managing music I make my own versions for classics, old and new, to suit the way I play. It takes some work but then i have my own unique set of tracks.
What strikes me, as a dj/producer, a bit from global record pools like these (there are a few doing the same, which are pretty cheap as well), is that they base the charts on both the UK and the USA. But what about what's trending in the Netherlands ? I mean, we have (by fact) the biggest and best EDM festivals in the world. People from all over the world, even South Korea/Australia/Japan/Phillipines, are visiting Awakenings, the biggest and baddest Techno-festival on the planet. Yet, nobody focuses on the charts in the country where it all takes place. Of course, there are some of the greater festivals in both the UK and the USA, but the Netherlands is easily forgotten, while it was and still is the mother of all festivals. Just look at ADE, the Amsterdam Dance Event, Awakenings, Thunderdome, Pinkpop, We Love The 90's Festival, Zwarte Cross, Frestival, Airforce Festival (we're planning a return in 2027), Psy-Fi Festival, Onder De Radar Festival (this is basically around the corner for me), Dance Valley, just to name a few still existing ones. Pinkpop and Zwarte Cross aren't even only edm, they're filled with other styles as well. Some of the biggest ones that aren't around anymore or merged with other festivals are, amongst others, Innercity, Dreamland, ID&T Mega Dance Event, Mysteryland. I know I'm going offtopic a bit here, but I just wanted to let ya'll know that you, as a(n upcoming) festival DJ, should not just focus on what's hot or not in the UK and the USA. I'm part of a record pool which focuses mainly on what's hot or not in the Netherlands, Germany, Croatia and Hungary and thát's exactly the music we hear on these festivals every year. // No offense intended here, but I'm a bit tired of looking at promo videos of record pools with 'promotions' that aren't for the whole planet and that focus on charts in countries that aren't that meaningful in the charts of dance festivals. I'm not talking specifically about the UK, because the EDM-scene in the UK is huge (some of the greatest names from the 90s/00s/10s-period are from the UK).
First of all, thanks for the tip. But I think, even as someone who has only really been DJing for two years, that this sort of thing isn't good. The most important thing when DJing is to implement your own ideas. Personally, and I repeat PERSONALLY, I think it is very important that a set has the signature of the person playing the set. No mashup from someone else belongs in there. Then you can simply play Spotify.
One of best recordpool over bpm Supreme and club killer and heavyhits I've been using 4 years compared over all 10 + recordpools music but the the mashup is ultimately another level if you wanna be unique tracks in many crowded u should be have the mashup
Awesome! Not my genre though, as soon as they make something like this for progressive/deep/afro house / melodic house&techno i am all in.... on the other hand, maybe these genres dont really lend themselves that well to mashups and thats why there is no site like this yet.... hmmm.....
There is a website danny recommended where you can edits and remixes where the site just has lists on lists of edits and remixes right there to downloading. I can't remember what it is for the life of me and it was mentioned on a podcast
One of the main reasons why people don't use this is because you have to pay for it. If you are like me and not in the best financial situation £5 a month is alot of money. Not only that alot of music I would mix doesn't exist on these pools. So unless you are a commercial dj then it's no good.
I've heard of The Mashup a bit on the Birmingham gay scene and I've purposefully avoided it BECAUSE I heard other DJ's talking about it. I don't want to be playing the same stuff other DJ's in the scene are playing.
Not from my experience with those genres, most of the DJs that play those genres, all head to Beatport, to keep up to date, and also Bandcamp as well. If I find any DJ pools that cater for those genres, i'll update this comment with them.
Am I the only one who liked/likes to dig for those tracks no one has heard of. I like finding music labels and searching through their catalog. I don’t want the same remixes and edits every DJ has. That’s just lame AF
1 dollars or else is not just working for Canada, same F.... prices so no advantage here. Too expensive vs other DJ Pool and also makes looks quantized like a miracle when it's the least they do at BPM Supreme. I DJ Pool that you CAN'T SEE the song if you are not paying is weird to me. Don't undersand how you promote them if is not that they give full free access to all crossfader member. Love your site btw nothing personal.
I think we have a different definition for what unique means. It’s not unique if anybody can access it…. cool share but I will stick with doing/making/producing/recording/soundshaping my own music for absolutely no freaken reason or money and at all but to satisfy my own ego cuz only my happiness matter at this point of my Dj career … which is none existent .
@kingJBradley hahaha what In F1 all the cars have different tyres, engines, aero packages, chassis, brakes and fuel strategies. Have you ever watched it?
@@djLovelyTimeFormula 1 follows a pretty strict set of rules that basically make all the cars very similar, near identical. The cars are made to obviously fit this format but the different teams f.e dont get handed the same engine but some teams have perfected that engine better than others. Since everything is so similar however it then means that the driver / the teams strategy is the deciding factor on who wins.

Man I thought the same thing.
I’ve been using this for a few years and I’ve found some real gems that smash the dance floor every time.

Dope 👌 Thank You 🙌 Hope you all enjoyed the wedding 🙌 Congrats to Mr and Mrs Hartley 🎉
Thank you so much for this video! I will definitely be checking out this DJ pool. It looks fantastic!
best pool going hands down respect for the heads up can be a messy world out there
Thanks for the in depth review - I’m going to check this out.

Great content as always! Thank you ❤
As soon as I heard £4.99 in the UK and $1 in the US I lost interest 😂
Yeah I can’t believe it’s more expensive in uk but it is a great pool although some tracks are not really 320 mp3 defo worth the 4.99 though
Cheaper than most things
Use a vpn so u can pay 1 to
Such a click bait promo. You forgot to mention at the start it’s only for first month.
Evidently they getting paid for this CRAP! it is the same cost as DJ City. I'm going with an ESTABLISHED company. Some serious click bait and B.S.
Been using the mashup for a while, it's pretty good tbf
Thank you for the info on this
Excellent video thanks man 👍👍
mp3s only? :c
Wish more pools had keyboard shortcuts to browse.
Here is australia its 20 dollars for the first month?
Then it's only $40aud/mo after that 🙄
this is a great share! thanks man
I use it all the time for my Drum&Bass
thanks for this info bro. am going to download.
How do I email this company?
How many laptops or decks can I use it on with one paid subscription?
$1 is £0.79 so why are we having to pay £4.99 in the UK??
in germany 9,99 pounds the first month and 20 pounds after..
Trending... Most Shazamed 2020 😮😮😮
This is dope!!!
Also, TY to Crossfader for showing me what’s up.
The heck does “get stuck in” mean 🤣
site loooks great but man its so slow to load previews
Thanks for the content! Just set up a free account and listened to some songs. Will try them out for a month and see.
bless for this i have signed up
i'm signing up with the quickness
I will be joining thank you for some gigs I have this summer

Interesting. Just started getting into it and I like the same genre. Makes sense why those loop transitions don't work quite as well

Been using it for 2 years. Only thing that sucks is that they don’t insert the genre.
I’m here to support you guys! 💪🏽💪🏽
Here to support you too brother!
Track ID for 0:00? Sounds like Pryces/53 Thieves
It’s great I love it 😊
Only 150 downloads a month 😢
Is it all Top of The Pops stuff?
So its basically just Hypeddit and a promo pool just for Mashups.. Are the real artists used for the mashups get paid tho?
Is this a good tool for a dj like myself that prefers to play techno and psytrance?
Didn't see Psytrance at all there
I'm sold 🦾
Heavy Hits is nice
Where I live, I don't know any DJs that use DJ pools. Learning hoe they work
Waaht? Where you live?
Where do they usually get their music from?
Why say 1 Dollar when it's only in the USA?😊. So what is the difference pricing for?
Good!
I've heard of The Mashup a bit on the Birmingham gay scene and I've purposefully avoided it BECAUSE I heard other DJ's talking about it. I don't want to be playing the same stuff other DJ's in the scene are playing.
This should also be labelled an ad. As they are also advertising your courses.
Thats not a 75% discount, its 50% lol so scammy for no reason
I'm not a genius in maths but I realised the scam too 😂😅. why r they doing this I wonder 🧐
It's 75% discount off the standard price of £20.
Only MP3? No wave/aiff/flac? Weak!
Do you know any good DJ pools specific for Trance? Uplifting, Techtrance, Acid
Not from my experience with those genres, most of the DJs that play those genres, all head to Beatport, to keep up to date, and also Bandcamp as well. If I find any DJ pools that cater for those genres, i'll update this comment with them.
@@BANNERWORX Thanks. Beatport cost me a fortune 🤣
Try Zipdj. I'm quite happy with that one
This pool is £19.99 a month. Ive got it... £4.99 is only for the first month
What about Christian DJ's
👍🥳👍👍
its got good music but i dont like that you can only download 150 tracks for £10 a month and you pay up front of £50 for 3 months if u want 500
To me in Brazil this costs £20/monthly... 🤡
Am I the only one who liked/likes to dig for those tracks no one has heard of. I like finding music labels and searching through their catalog. I don’t want the same remixes and edits every DJ has. That’s just lame AF
if you want to be so unique, you shouldn't give away such valuable secrets to all of these chumps out here just following the pack
I like the popular songs and edits because they make me the most.money and.my customers very happy:)
interesting
If you're already using remixed music to make a remix and you're not a DJ you're a fraud DJ pools like this or nothing more than a fraud's paradise

Damn this was a hard read
Soca music never gets love on music pools.. I can never find what I need because it’s always place with the dancehall or Afro beats.. like wtf..
Used, not a fan, vast majority are mash ups as name shows and many not that good, got to really dig to find any diamonds
$1 what? This ish is $29.99 per month. I much rather go to DJ city for that cost def not this pool that is misleading!
9.99 pounds a month ...far from being cheap according to me

A lot of Dj pools suck
Making your set unique by using a DJ pool everyone else is using? huh?
That argument makes no sense, if you think about it….
This channel gets kick backs, it's as simple as that my guy
F1 uses all the same vehicles, yet there's only one winner. It ain't the car, it's the driver 💭

no passion. playing music you don't even know by an artist you don't even know to. seems to cater to fad djs
I mean, all the stuff is old as balls or produced by some random dude in fruity loops. A lot of garbage
they don‘t have melodic techno genre ☹️
