Big El Niño Swell 12-30-23 : El Porto, Bruce's beach, Palos Verdes Cliffs & Lunada Bay

Fun day watching some massive swell pump through SoCal beaches. Forecast was for 9ft+ at 17 seconds but I am not quite sure we saw all of that size. Still waves in the 10ft+ (Californian) size range, and predicted winds held off until about 1pm. Super fun to get out there and film. First time filming swell only since Hurricane Marie!

Thank you! It was looking pretty getable. I heard from the surfer I met that him and three others got denied entry as they paddled out and some big sets sent them back to the beach!

El Porto Lifeguard be like oh this kid's board is looking pretty yellow and dated... I better not let him enter the water! From the surfer's perspective though he is like shit bro I'm not sacrificing a brand new board to the wave gods today! 😆

haha the lifeguard went up and said "todays not the day man". Sure enough cleanup sets rolled through right while he would have been mid paddle out, no board donations for him luckily haha
