    Really thorough comparison. I have piriformis pain and the laying down stretch definitely helps me.

    You say you are a fan of treating the causal habits but I didn't catch how to rectify them. Is it just not to slouch while sitting and don't favor one leg while standing?

      Nope, it's indeed much more complex than this. What you mention is part of it, but just a tiny part. Changing one's habits doesn't happen overnight.     Is this the same stretch as the one where you sit on a chair, put one leg over the other, straighten back, and then lean forward?

      It is... except that when you sit, your weight is on the muscle that you stretch, which I don't find a great idea :)
