Which Pokémon Will get New Forms/Evolutions in Legends Z-A?

- Pokémon Legends Arceus was a breath of fresh air, and everyone loved the fact that we saw NEW regional forms and even evolutions in the game! And now that we have Pokémon Legends Z-A on the horizon I think it's safe to say that we'll find at least a few new variants and an evolution or two in this alternate version of the Kalos region! Also Mega Evolutions are confirmed to come back so that should be factored in as well!

I wouldn't be surprised if Zygarde got more forms, 15%, 35%, 75%, etc., and those forms would be the dedicated traversal Pokemon
wait that's so heat
I think 25% is more likely
I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a major plot of the game, looking for zygarde cores and cells in order to make zygarde more powerful. Kind of like the path of legends. I do think different forms is not only possible, but probable.
@@ezracohen3859 Those numbers were just examples.
@@johntaylor1189 Yes, especially since the whole game is probably just going to be in a dense city, there are many places to hide the cores, like the wisps to get Spiritomb.
I understand Feraligatr needs more love but Empoleon suits more as a water starter for Legends ZA due to the fact that it inspired by Napoleon the French Emperor
I won't complain for Empoleon to be in anything!
I would rather see it as a prominent trainers ace pokemon then have it as a starter
Yes with a Napoleon hat.
Also the soccer rabbit starter suit kalo better than wrestler
@@emperorcubone Serperior dragon or fairy, Empoleon fight or ice, Cinderace electric or fight

2:02 Fun Fact, the Colonization of Hokkaido and Haussmann’s Renovation of Paris were around the same time frame, with the latter actually starting earlier. I don’t think this game will be set before Legends Arceus, but it’ll be by no means “modern.”
The problem with the games being set in the past, is that you cannot justify an evolution or Mega for a gen 6 or earlier Pokemon that was in the Kalos dex though, since in-lore, you cannot explain it due to XY not having them.
It also says its a redevelopment of Lumiose City (So the city is already there)
@@nickdentoom1173 It's pretty easy to explain though. Mega Stones are just rare, so the XY protagonist couldn't find one
@@nickdentoom1173 Really isn't that much of an issue. The redevelopment exponentially increased human activity in the area, and it's probably how you'd explain pokémon either being extinct or migrating away. Also, the renovation of Paris was also a redevelopment. Paris was there too.
It's a perfect match of time framing and ecological change in the region due to the industrial revolution.
The only real thing that might throw that idea under the bus is that the trailer heavily features lights and holograms, as opposed to Arceus' ink and paper. As far as we know Z-A might be a sequel and not a prequel.
2:02
nope, both Legends games seem to be set around the real world 1800s
because
1800 Hokkaido, started to modernize
while
1800 Paris, had a big redevelopment plan going on
(side note, it has been pretty much confirmed that we won't leave the city at all)
Specifically in between 1853 and 1870
It is good to note that from the looks of things, people and pokemon are living decently happily amongst eachother, so one or two decades of a time skip is probably likely
Confirmed from what? The 30 second trailer we got?
@@BlindJedi Its literally confirmed on the website that the game is set entirely in Lumiose City.
@@nickdentoom1173thats probably talking more about the story since pokemon catching is a big part of the franchise
I do have faith they'll surprise us with how the pokemon catching works though, even if it is entirely in the city
I’m personally looking forward to seeing all the new evolutions and Regional Forms
Will likely see some Megas too
That is what I loved about Arceus all the forms from the past that shows how they were originally and how they adapted
I'm MORE anticipating new Evolutions because Kleavor, Basculegion, etc. were the most unexpected part of Legends Arceus for me!
@@emperorcubone me too
@@emperorcubone those are great too
They could make dedenne
evolve in to something looking like gorochu.
Redemption after all these years!
they won't
@@terrysyvertson9205 but they could
Fun fact: because we see Furfrou in the trailer, there are currently only 8 more Pokémon that need to make the jump to the switch those being Pansage, Panpear, Panpour, Simisage, Simisear, Simipour, Patrat, and Watchog.
Well... i think they will all be in, since all of them are found in XY. Wouldn't it be extremely funny if people speculate about the starters, but Pansage/Pansear/Panpour are the starters for Legends Z-A instead... i would actually not be against that.
@@nickdentoom1173simisear is the least popular pokemon of all time, not even joking. A poll was held over multiple countries. Unless those monkies get a 3rd stage it would be the worst decision gamefreak can make.
If my theory of ZA using most of x and y’s Pokédex like legends arceus is correct, it is likely that we will be seeing the elemental monkeys and the patrat line in ZA
"If the pattern holds"
When it comes to one thing, Gamefreak never stick to preconceived patterns.
This is quite true; we never know what to expect.
I'm still not over the new professors not having tree names
In regards to transport Pokémon, it’d be awesome if the Sneasler equivalent was able to zip around the city from building to building, be it Spider Man style or simply jumping really high & grappling. A Spidops evolution would be the perfect candidate!
I can't deny that sounds super fun! But are there any buildings tall enough besides Prism Tower?
I'm just happy that Emp was able to post 2 vids in one week 🔥
Believe me, I'm just as shocked as you!
all i want now that i heard it somewhere is a mega dudunsparce that just adds an extra segment so you can have up to a 4 segment dudunsparce
I despise how believable this sounds...
I used Spoink/Grumpig in my Violet playthrough because he was available so early. I would love to see a new evolution of it.
Imagine seeing the birth of the truish line.
"What have we done?"
Grumpig getting an evo would go so hard because that opens the door for eviolite Grimpig who could potentially be a bulky monster, provided you dont get knocked off
This is true too! Did wonders for Dusclops, Chansey, Gligar, etc...
I mean, that didn't stop Duraludon getting an Evolution and not looking at the typings, technically Scyther outclasses its evolutions with eviolite.
I don't think people are exploring the chance they revamp the mechanics of mega evolution itself. Like, they could straight up remove the 100 base stat buff in favor of something more easily balanced like being able to use held items and/or having 2 abilities instead of 1. Making it more of a mode-change instead of a buff sort of like Tera types.
No
It might also make sense to see Empoleon instead of Feraligatr, considering that its name literally comes partly from a FRENCH ruler
It’s so annoying that Legends Arceus had a rule established that it broke. Every Pokemon you could catch was from the Diamond and Pearl Pokedex and any Pokemon that appeared that was not part of that initial Pokedex was a new form… except for Sneasel. So now any Pokemon can have a form rather than only the 500 not in Kalos
I wouldn’t call it an established rule if it was never concrete from the get go. I quite like the precedent that they set with Hisuian Sneasel & Sneasler, showing that even native Pokémon can go through changes. I do wish we got an answer of whether Hisuian Sneasel adapted into the modern ones, or if they were driven to extinction by Johtonian Sneasel migrating from Johto and/or via space time distortions, but I don’t mind it being left up to interpretation.
It would make more sense for this Legends game to use other pokemon than just the Kalos dex than it does for L:A. Arceus was about exploring a wild and untamed region, where human influence hasn't done much to alter the Pokemon population. With L:Z, it looks like it's taking place entirely in a city, a manmade environment where non native Pokemon would have a much greater chance of being introduced by the people there.
@@lostfelinepiesh6917 I’m just saying it’s harder to plan what Pokemon are on the table for variants because it can basically be any Pokemon. It can be a Pokemon like Bagon who was in Kalos or a Pokemon like Litleo that was from Kalos. If Sneasler didn’t exist we would have a much different starting point to theorize from
@@MicoDossun I actually like that aspect of it. I generally try to avoid major leaks since for me it takes all the joy of discovery out of a game. If it was just the Kalos dex for instance there's so few fully evolved Pokemon that with such a span of time until the game's release, we'd all have seen so many concepts of what their "new forms" would be it wouldn't be as exciting when we got the real ones. Opening it up to other lines gives some wiggle room and we could see totally out of left field picks.
It doesn't even look like it, its flat out confirmed the game is set entirely in Lumiose City.
For forms, the games being set in the past is fine. However, the games being set in the past is a problem for Mega Evolution being given to past Pokemon/Pokemon that appear in the Kalos Dex, since in-lore, they cannot explain why they weren't in XY.
So in terms of Mega's, the games basically have to be set in the future, where they can explain that the new Mega's in Legends Z-A are recent discoveries, same for the forms. They can even make it so that some Pokemon adapted to live in a city rather than in the wild, even those who were in XY.
I love the Litleo example in terms of forms, because looking at the trailer again, i can say with certainty the Kalos Pokemon that don't get new forms are Litleo line, Fletchling line, Skiddo line, Pancham line, Espurr line, Honedge line, Skrelp line (Which imo also confirms Clauncher line not getting anything since they are counterparts), Noibat line. They were all in the trailer. Klefki and Hawlucha were in the trailer as well, but considering they are stand-alones, there still is a possibility for them to get a new evolution (Although i find it extremely unlikely for Klefki, but also for Hawlucha, especially looking at its popularity). Furfrou and Flabebe lines are there as well and while they might not get new evolutions, they might get new forms/trims (Especially for Furfrou that seems likely, since the trailer showed us different Furfrou with different trims, so they might throw in new ones). Other potential Kalos mons that are somewhat problematic are the Pumpkaboo and Phantump lines, the Aromatisse and Slurpuff lines, since they are trade evo's and they don't tend to get new evolutions and i don't think they will get new forms either. Another potential problematic one in terms of a new evolution is the Helioptile line (Since it evolves with a stone and those tend to be the last of their lines), however, i can see Helioptile/Heliolisk get a new form.
Now, you can obviously make the argument for the trade evo's that we got Alolan Golem in Alola, but what we need to keep in mind here is that Golem isn't a native Alola mon and as such had to adapt.
Seeing Lockemon in the thumbnail made me want to look up when his game was coming out.
Maybe it's 2024 to beat out the Pokemon Company?
Beta tester for Swirling Seasons here; it'll come out when it comes out, and not any sooner.
So expect it taking at least a few more years...😢
With all the flowers in kalos, Gossifleur and Eldigoss would be a good later pokemon to get a regional variant or a mega
True, but that might interfere with AZ's Floette...
I'm expecting furfrou to get something, poor neglected pup
I did almost immediately think about getting new Furfrou designs for grooming!
I have a strong feeling the only reason they’re holding off on the next mainline game, is they want gen 10 to release on their 30th anniversary. My strong prediction is that they’ll release it either on Pokémon day in 2026 or hold off till the holiday season of the same year.
That's a solid theory, and if that's the only reason they get extra time to make them the best games they can possibly be I'm not even mad about it!
A Nickit/Thievul would be _perfect_ for France. Stories of a trickster fox and his pals/enemies and adventures were enough to permanently change the default French word for fox from "goupil" (the French form of the root _vulpes_ , pronounced "goopy") to "Reynard" (the name of the fox character in question). A Zorua/Zoroark could also have worked if we didn't already get those in Hisui.
What I love to see is a Furfrou pre-evolution, a baby poodle pup would be cool to see and stop Furfrou to hatch fully evolved and love to see it in stages tbh, so yeah
That would be pretty cool!
I think that there's gonna be a strong Alola influence in the new forms we are gonna get much like legends arceus had a lot lot of Unova pokemon that got new forms
Hmm, That's a good point! I hadn't put that together (I guess some people were thinking that was gonna lead to Unova remakes...)
highly unlikely
I hope this comment ages well.
A video not on a Tuesday? This is a bigger shock than the Legends Z-A announcement!
Full disclosure this will probably be instead of the usual Tuesday video. I just had to talk about it!
4:53 if it’s set in the 1800s then that’s probably before their first sighting 50 years ago in BW
My guesses for the starters:
Snivy because Serperior is based on French nobility
Scorbunny because soccer is huge in France
Piplup because Empoleon is based on Napoleon
I also think the Kalos starters will get Mega Evolutions
Agreed.
I know how everyone is joking about Charizard getting a new mega form however never put it past Game Freak to go overboard with their secondary mascot. I wouldn't put it past them to not only make Charizard the fire starter, not only give Charizard a new regional form, but to also make that form compatible with both pre-existing Megastones (Charizaite X and Charizite Y) giving it two new mega evolution forms, aka Mega Charizard ZX and Mega Charizard ZY.
Dedenne getting some love!
As for mounts yeah were probably going to get a gogoat evolution that is more suited to the environment of olden kalos
Maybe a card pulled by them and modern kalos still uses them occasionally the sane way we occasionally use horses
I have a pet theory, I reckon we'll get a form/evo/mega of Shuckle
it was gonna get an evo back in gen 2 but it was cut, and the other cut evos made it in some form (aside from Weepinbell's split evo) - Yanmega, Sirfetch'd, Overqwil, Farigiraf, Mega Pinsir, Mamoswine were the rest
Not an evolution; evolite Shuckle would be a nightmare!
11:30 Speaking of Eevee, I hope for Mimikyu to have an Eevee form.
6:40 You know now that I think about it, beta version Noctowl looks like it could be a middle evolution between Hoothoot and Noctowl, so they could reuse this beta version and call it Scopsowl (using partial of their scientific name for whiskered screech owls) give it Noctowl's stats and then Noctowl could have better stats, probably put it up to 522?
Yes I minmaxed his stats a bit, but hey Golhdengo's stats are pretty minmaxed as well so I think it's fair. In any case I just want more owl based pokemon and for Noctowl to be better.

6:59 Both typings aren't the greatest but if I had to choose one I'd go for Normal/Psychic and give it Levitate.
Honestly, that might be a cool gimmick in at least one game somehow; I'd love to have even temporary middle evolutions inserted, but hopefully it'd be longer lasting...
Snivy, piplup, and scobunny would be my guess as the starters
I Almost put Scorbunny, but I didn't just for the fact that it has a Gigantamax form, and I thought that it shouldn't have TWO things when other starters have none...
@@emperorcuboneWell, I wouldn't be surprised if they give the Charizard treatment to another fire starter tbh. But I could also see Chimchar as the fire option, due to France's ties to the far east. Litten, as much as I personally like it, seems to me like the least likely one.
@@emperorcuboneCharizard in the background laughing cause he has a gmax, 2 megas and is most likely getting a 3rd mega
@emperorcubone true but France n England are close n they both have football teams so tring to think of connections
@@emperorcubone I was thinking Chimchar as the fire-type starter in Legends: Z-A
I know we were focusing on the Pokémon themselves, but I’m just hoping they take time on making the game. And not give a mess like Scarlet and Violet
They might not even be taking a break if they release in January 😂. You starter predictions are the same as mine. Also after applin and duralodon getting love in sv dlc i wouldnt count out recent pokemon getting new forms
im really hoping for kalos and post-kalos megas, the only pokemon introduced past gen 5 to get a mega was diancie, and as ive long considered megas to be a dead gimmick, it would be really neat to see what newer pokemon from after they stopped making new megas would look like with their own mega evolutions.
Chimecho is my favorite and it would be a dream come true if they would get an evolution
Every Pokemon out there has somebody that loves it!
my ideas for the PLZA
1. Eevee getting a dragon type evolution
2. Starter pokemon from other regions who haven't got mega evolutions will get them but only the ones from gen 2,4,and 5
3. Since Glalie has a mega form it's only fair that froslass gets one too
4. Pokemon evolutions that were long forgotten like the PLA
5. The 2 Kalos starters having the battle bond ability and the story how the battle bond came to be
6. The legendary pokemon having forms like zygarde's 100% form
7. Having pokemon that have the remaining type mix that haven''t got it yet(like fire/fairy)
New type combinations would be great! Or just ones that are otherwise unique, like Poison/Flying, etc...
I want Serpior to have a form, either regional or Mega, where it's collar leaves grow out revealing a bouquet of flowers and swirling vines. Thus creating an ornate, royal looking collar that resembles an emperor's clothing.
Hisui is based on the Early Meiji period that began in 1868. The Eiffel Tower was built in 1887 France. So we seem to be looking at roughly the same time period give or take 20 years.
That's assuming that Prism Tower is being built in the game, but from what we saw it was totally complete! It could be brand new I suppose, but the other buildings make it appear to be later...
@emperorcubone but in general, then entire Paris renovation took place brywrrn 1853 and 1870 with the tower beimg built just after the city wide demolition and remodle. And in a game based in France with an obvious parallel between the games main city and Paris, this seems like the more plausible timeline. We also don't see Prisim Tower already built in the trailer. We see a blue print rendering of Lumios City and the tower. So its hard to say based on the rendering if the tower was built before construction.
The problem with that games being set in the past, is that they literally cannot give Mega Evolution to Pokemon that appear in the Kalos Dex in XY and don't have a Mega in that game, since they literally cannot explain in-lore why they did have them if Legends Z-A is in the past, but didn't in XY.
However, with the game being set in the future, they can easily go like: Due to the redevelopment of Lumiose City and opening up the lower layers and sewers, we disovered new Mega Stones and new Mega Evolutions.
Also looking at the trailer is that Lumiose City appears to have 2 layers now as well, which they didn't have in XY (We can clearly see bridges and waterways). So that is another indication the games are set in the future rather than the past.
@nickdentoom1173 you can easily have Megas exist in the past and not currently during the time of Gen 6. To Mega Evolve you need a Mega Stone. Its very well possible that over the course of 200 years enough Mega Stones get broken, losts or are just not in circulation that the evolution is lost in the present day.
@@emperorcubone Not likely since we dont see anything brand new in the city in the CGI trailer since the whole city is in blue which is like BLUE PRINTS, so i dont see it taking place in either the present time or in the future since is seems more likely take place in the past BEFORE Lumious City was built, or at least BEFORE urban stuff was added at least.
Honestly I’m so hype. Legends Arceus was maybe my favorite Pokemon game, so this is quite exciting. I want a Gen 5 legends game next.
When it comes to starters, I think we can all agree that Snivy and Piplup are a no-brainer, due to their very france inspired themes. The Fire starter, though, is a bit more up in the air.
personally I want more megas than anything else. I would love to finally have mega evolutions for the kalos starters and goodra.
But I would go nuts for a dragon eevee evolution. I would cry. I would scream.
A tons of things that would be amazing for all the Pokémon that had been obscured for years
Not to mention I would love it if there are multiple hundreds of brand new Pokémon in this game, like 700 of them in addition to the fact that the only returning Pokémon I’m sure would fit here are the Pokémon from generation 6 and the Pokémon that gained mega evolution in Pokémon x and y and oras and that no other old Pokémon should return unless of course they are given new evolutions or even new mega evolutions but yes, more new regional forms work too and maybe many other new forms
I hope they include a legendary group from a another region like they did in Legends Arceus. The Lake trio and the Tapus seem the most likely. I could even see them including the Ultra Beasts instead
Don't forget that they Added another member of the Forces of Nature as well! So it might happen again with whatever Legend group they include...
The lake trio is from sinoh
I don't really mind not having evolutions or regional variants, I expect at least new megas for the Kalos pokémon, including the two starters that have been neglected for so long just for being in the shadow of their water/dark counterpart.
Mega Barbaracle when!?
getting a mega on any of the eeveelutions,, idk how it would be possible but i just think it’d be sickkk
Starters
Snivy into a Grass/Rock Serperior
Scorbunny into a Fire/Fight Cinderace
Piplup into a Water/Fly Empoleon
I cant wait to see kalos again
Grumpig can also become Flying type, using its tail as proppelers.
I have seen people throw around Legends Z-A cannot have a starter triangle of gen 2, 5 and 7 due to having them in Legends Arceus.
However, i think 2 of the starters are so obvious, they have to be included (Those being Snivy and Piplup, considering they are both based on france).
They should've been branched from pika clones being electric mice. We had the azuril line which is essentially water type Pikachu. It would be interesting to get new clones of different types imo. Not even related to the vid but close enough
This probably won’t happen, but it would be cool if they had regional variants based on past Mega Evolutions so that so form of Megas could be legal in future formats
Some of the Paradox Pokemon were kind of like that (Roaring Moon/Iron Valiant) but that would be cool to see!
@@emperorcubone oh, I completely forgot about that!
AZ’s flowett could be a regional variant
AZ's Florges variant would look sick!
If it's set in the future like some people are predicting it would be cool if the story was around the bad guys trying to make zyguarde work for then and pump more power into it giving us like a zyguarde 150%
Ooh, that would be interesting! But probably OP, like Ultra Necrozma or Eternamax...
I mean, it kinda has to be set in the future, since it being set in the past is especially problematic for Mega Evolution for mons that are in the Kalos dex, since they cannot explain in-lore why they weren't there in XY, while if the games are set in the future, they can easily say - During redevelopment of Lumiose City (So the present XY one), we disovered new Mega stones for Pokemon that live in the region.
I like the idea with Noctowl but I Pidove’s evolution line should get the Obstagoon treatment, maybe make them actual doves so a New Form of Pidove that starts as just the Flying type. Maybe even a Fairy/Flying evolution, or even Ice/Flying. Anything can happen at this point
I do think at least the Kalos starters will get megas since they didnt receive one in their OG games.
We did see the Sinnoh starters in Legends Arceus so that makes sense!
Like, the thing is though.
If any Mon in the Kalos dex gets a Mega, that means that the games have to be set in the future (After XY), with the Mega's being new discoveries, since they cannot explain in-lore why the weren't there in XY.
@@nickdentoom1173 or the mega stones for the og kalos starters could have already been a rare find and got lost in time and that's why they don't have megas in the og games. There are always ways to make things make sense. We don't know what Game Freak is going to do with megas this time around so we just have to wait and see for more info to come out.
@@amandadaley4182 Yeah, they could. But they cannot explain it in-lore because XY already happened. Thats kinda the problem.
I kinda wonder if L ZA does take place in the past maybe we will see why Zygarde is split into so many parts . Was the compete form a problem back in the day and they had to blow it up a little? I never got that part of Sun/Moon finding all its pieces
These questions will hopefully get answers!
It being set in the past is a problem for Mega Evolution for Pokemon in the Kalos dex though, since they cannot explain in-lore why they didn't have them in XY.
Things that I’m predicting:
1) The game will not be set in the past, but instead the future
2) Normal Kalos starters with megas
3) Less regional forms, one-two lines tops, very Mega evolution focused game
3) The “new forms” of Xerneas and Yveltal will be fusions like with Necrozma, and there will be an ultimate XYZ form combining all three.
Instead of regional forms I could see them focusing on new Megas, since I highly doubt they'll ONLY bring back the old ones. And maybe we'll see Mega Xerneas and Yveltal too?
It feels wrong being this early
Morning, trying to think of what could be possible, I have multiple half ideas; and I wonder now that you’ve said it. What will the starters be?- Will they redistribute Kanto starters again? Like in XY? Will professor Juniper be there/ or a descendant/ancestor? Scolopede I wanna see a mega for, flygon is always an idea too but I hope none of them are another DUNDUN evo.
-so if they’re not going to split of Kanto, my starter guess atm is;
Snivy? Scornbunny, piplup I was trying to think if its France they’d have a lot of entertainment/ or kings lumiose had everything* I wonder if the power outages will be another thing;
Last thought did you notice the slithering motion when the mega symbol disappeared in the trailer? Do you think we’re going back to the beginning Z-A?
Wonder if the aura trio will get a new member like the forces of nature. Wonder what type it could be.
Well I have a feeling they might be moving on from the whole regional form thing considering how the Gen 9 games had only 4 in total (with 3 of them being different forms of Tauros)
Maybe, but I think they're lumping in "convergent" Pokemon like Toedscool. And also there were Tons of Paradox Pokemon who easily would have been regional forms in any other game...
@@emperorcubone That’s true and it’s admittedly surprising that there were only three evolutionary lines of convergent species Pokémon ever introduced considering Gen 9 is the first generation to introduce it. So perhaps a future game could introduce more Pokémon involving that concept.
Paradoxes technically are distant regional forms, the professor of your game confirms it in the Crystal pool - paradoxes come from the distant past/future of their own respective timeline, parallel to ours.
I am calling it now. I don't think we are gonna get much regional forms, very few. More focus will be mega evolutions.
Probably; as long as they don't disappear immediately I guess that's fine!
Hoping to see a new evo for Chimecho, Sunflora, Ledian, Luvdisc, Hypno and Golduck. Imagine their evolution get mega evolution on top of that! 😂
Chimecho for sure needs some love! That would be pretty funny if every evolution ALSO got a mega for the game...
You wouldn’t know what I would love to see a new regional form of garchomp I know it already has a megaphone, but that’s literally it. It’s low by the community, but only has one additional thing which is mega evolution so I would like to see it have a regional form. and maybe even a regional mega evolution
I think the name Z-A is a metaphor. Like the first legends game the main character goes back to the past/beginning
Empoleon has French connections. Surprised his favorite wasn't mentioned.
So, obviosly, i want some new forms but none at all also could be possible since its based on a city which wont change that much (i think, maybe im stupid). or maybe the new forms are from diffrent regions which came with their trainers to this new big city
Maybe, but it could be some Pokemon that "died out" like Ursaluna or Hisuian Growlithe...
Dragon Quest music ❤
I couldn't really get into Legends Arceus, maybe I should give it another shot.
I really hope for heliolisk evolution . Electric/Dragon type seem cool to me
I always mistook them for Ground types anyway, so that could work too!
I want Spinda to get some love, because I love Spinda - but I find it hard to believe they would get anything new here.
Maybe a Mega?
But I do hope they'll appear at least, since they were in the national dex in X & Y, and GameFreak are taking a years-worth of time to dev, so programming them correctly feels plausible.
As long as the game isn’t empty as in the first Legend game.
I want either a new version of aigislash or a mega
AZ eh? So it might take place back in the past when AZ's touched upon back story happened? That could be really cool.
Yeah and even seeing the Pokémon that existed in kalos 3000 years before the Great War and finally see what kinds of Pokémon existed long before yveltal perished and absorbed the life force of the kalos region and killed those Pokémon
I was looking forward to see a legends kalos game like that.
So a Pokémon I really want to see in ZA is Galvantula. Since legends arceus’ Pokédex is heavily based around the sinnoh Pokédex, I think ZA will do the same and have most of the same Pokémon as in x and y. One Pokémon in these games was Galvantula which is my favourite Pokémon of all and I’m really hoping gets a mega, it will likely be in the game with not many major changes but still hopin for a mega for it.
We might get Mega regional variants. Each new game in the series improved regional variant. SW SH made regional evolutions. Arceus made regional variants of the past. And S and V made regional fakes. Yes I know they are technically different pokemon but it's still the same idea
Piplup is gonna be the water starter. Literally based off Napoleon.
Maybe Piplup regional form especially Empoleon as Napoleon like appearances
Well if we get different starters, I like their evolution to mirror other d and d classes like monk, bard or artificer.
I wasn't sure, but Bard won me over...
Like, in that case the Grass starter should be Rillaboom, instead of a Drum, it has a harp.
i know they wont do it, but i would love a psychic fighting mega espeon
I personally feel Serperior,Cinderace(or Blaziken) and Empoleon may fit more I mean especially Empoleon being based on a French person in history
Theres gonna be a patrat line in this game because its based on a construction worker
France fought a battle/war against wolves, and they were the defenders. Maybe a fighting, dark set of kalosian lycanrocs?
I'd love for Lycanroc to get more love! It's one of my favorites!
Xerneas form is not actually meant to be a "form" it's just to kinda show how it's powers work and that it can activate them through its horns. But o do think we'll get something more intricate with both it and yveltal in legends Z-A
I want to see a warrior king/knight variant of fused Calyrex.
06:21 Mega-Pidgeot would like a word with you
I would say that Gen 2 and 5 will get new forms, Megas etc.
As for whether the starters would be regional forms or Megas, I'm personally of the opinion that the new Legends Z-A should be regional forms, but let the OG Kalos starters go Mega since there isn't really anything else they could be given in this game.
I feel like since legends arceus used goomy as its underrated pseudo i think they will use another underrated pseudo like kameo idk how to spell his name
I think that the kalos starters should be the starters without regional forms so they can they can get the mega evolutions that they deserve
How about a Dragon and Water type Dragonite since we saw Dragonair in the preview.
Still waiting for untouched kalos video
In retrospect that Should've come out on Pokemon Day instead...
All that matters to me is that more Pokémon that have no evolutions finally get them, and those that only evolve once get a final stage.
I’m not looking forward for there to be a quest in which we have to collect all the Zygard cells like we did in USUM, even if it’s part of the plot.
So every Pokemon eventually becomes a Three-stage line? I don't know I think it's a nice way to make them more uniqu by having different evolution levels...
Nothing has been confirmed that this is the next actual game. Its a good chance we get something this fall
Sure, I guess... But they didn't announce Legends Arceus and THEN Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. And that would even make a bit of sense too because BDSP were made by an outside studio. So while it is technically true that Z-A does not have to be the next game, it is shockingly poor marketing if it comes out any other way...
@@emperorcubone Oh I agree. Im just saying that I dont think we will go a year without a Pokemon game. Theres no way that the Pokemon TCG thing will hold us over till next year. Especially if ZA isnt till Nov of 25
I am pretty convinced Legends Z-A was actually supposed to come out this year for the Switch 2, but since the Switch 2 got delayed to 2025, they were kinda forced to delay Legends Z-A as well, which might mean we either gets Legends Z-A early 2025 (Depending on the release of the Switch 2) or late 2025, which might also have impact on gen 10 releasing in 2026 rather than 2025.
all i know is gen 5 needs more megas and i hope they pick something better than AUDINO
How dare you besmirch everyone's favorite Unova Pokemon!
We might even see totally new pokemon as well
We did get Enamorus; so which previous Legendary trio would you add a fourth member to!? (I'm partial the the Legendary Beasts, but that also wouldn't make sense...)
@@emperorcubone no I mean like regular Pokemon like rattata
Yeah, multiple hundreds of totally new common Pokémon to Pokémon legends z-a
Maybe 700 of them
@@xavierperes I'm saying like around 2-10 new pokemon
@@ezracohen3859 ew no! This region already had a big backlash of brand new Pokémon in x and y by only introducing 72, this region needs a lot more new Pokémon. And if not 700 then maybe like:
97-102 smallest amount
120-153 medium amount
185-215 large amount
300-400 the largest amount
Those are the possible amount legends kalos should introduce, because from 2-10? If it were a dlc maybe, but it’s too barebones for a brand new game and especially one that deserves the most justice
The water option will probably be Empoleon Bonaparte
This would be just fine with me...
